I am from out of town and am looking to play Hickory this Sunday. Any locals want to meet up and show me your course? I am a solid but older player.

Brandon Schmuker    June 1 at 11:51am

Looking for a course in the Traverse City area that would be good to take my wife and 5 year old son to. I was gonna come out to Hickory Hills but I don't know if they would enjoy these elevation changes.

Both are great. I really enjoy Log Lake as well. Especially nice on a hot, sunny day. A nice canopy keeps you playing in the shade most of the round.

William Fuller   June 1 at 9:57pm

Brandon both of thoes courses are nice but if you don't really want to go to far from traverse there is Terrace Park it is listed on disc golf scene I have not played it yet but the holes are not really long I here it's fun. If you check disc golf scene it list all the courses for traverse city

Marc 2895   June 1 at 10:46pm

you should also look into udisc. I travel quite a bit around the country and use this app often. I have found many courses easily that I never would have found otherwise.Marc's UDisc Dashboard http://www.udiscapp.com/getUDisc

Robert Moering    June 16, 2014 at 8:25pm

I'm new at this and was wondering how I go about playing at this particular course. Is there a contact person I need to talk to about playing or do I just show up and play? Are there fees to play here?

Just show up , great course , lots of fun and huge elevation. Make sure to stop at tillys disc golf and party store. It's just a few blocks down the street.

Robert Moering   June 18, 2014 at 6:55am

Excellent, thanks. I will make sure to stop by Tillys too. How long does it take to play the course?

Marc 2895   June 18, 2014 at 1:40pm

Depends on the size of your group of course but I played it last summer starting at 7:00 am and got done about 2 hours later. I was in no big hurry and had no one in front or behind me.

Ryan Oakley    June 16, 2014 at 4:35pm

I lost a new pretty awesome dye I did on a clear core disc on Friday night... Reward if found and returned. You can see the disc here - https://www.facebook.com/odysseyartwork/photos/a.814405158589705.1073741834.666557310041158/814405141923040/?type=1&theater

Dave, i would recamend going to kingsley over Myles Kimmberly. kingsley tees are conc, and usaly shoved. Kingsley is also and easyier walk this time of year

Nick Pacific   November 25, 2013 at 11:57am

I played Myles Kimmerly the last couple thanksgiving years. Usually by then the leaves/ground are frozen stiff and lost discs aren't an issue that time of the year

Dave Milewski   November 25, 2013 at 12:54pm

Thanks again!
