Jon Tveite 53 - Long tees, 18 holes "Started out by barely missing a very make-able 25-30' putt for par on tricky #1 (as usual, I hit the gap, only to miss the hard left turn), but after that, I birdied two of the next four and then finished with thirteen straight pars. Missed a couple of other short birdie putts (#s 6 & 11), so I should have done better, but it felt good to shoot a personal best on a hot afternoon in Lawrence. Hole #s 3, 4, 7, and 18 were in their longest, hardest placements. #13 (probably my favorite hole) was placed short, so I went for it, but faded off into the woods just short of the dry creek bed (still made par, though)."Sunday, July 29, 2012

Jon Tveite 59 - Long tees, 18 holes "Second round of the day, and it went a little better. Had two easy birdies thanks to good tee shots on #7 & #15. Still had trouble on the long holes, and pathetically enough, super-short #11 got me for my second bogey of the day there."Sunday, June 10, 2012

Jon Tveite 61 - Long tees, 18 holes "I spent most of the weekend in Lawrence, so before coming home I had to give Centennial a couple tries. This was my first round: warm, a little windy, and rather crowded (with very recreational players...). I got to try some placements I'd never seen before (#4, #13, #18). Those, #1, & #17 were all long and gave me some trouble, mostly because of bad approaches. Other than that, I played decently -- not great by any means."Tuesday, April 24, 2012

Most of holes are long ones (for me) with a lot of elevation changes except for a few short holes.

Jon Tveite 63 - Long tees, 18 holes "I like this course a lot. I had played it 3-4 times before, but not for 6-7 years. I could have had a decent score, but I missed a bunch of dumb putts. I also sank about an 80-foot shot on #16, though. So it was a fun round."
