Hole 1's Basket
We've been in contact with the maintenance department regarding hole 1's basket at Cass. They've assured that it will be replaced before next Monday. They will also be doing a walk thru of the course to determine what will need to be fixed, as the entire course must be wheel chair accessible by law. Further Details to come.

Summer Leagues Start 3/29 at 5:30
Monday night leagues at Cass will be continuing Monday, March 29th at 5:30pm.
We have 6 berths for state finals which will be awarded to the top finishers of the Cass Point Series. Cass Point Series will finish up 2 weeks before states, but we will continue past that point for the A2CoPS. Good Luck to everyone and we hope to see you out this year.

This includes new concrete drainage tubes so hopefully it will not collapse again. Also, they've trimmed trees on ... more

With further note, it seems this has brought up some other issues that needed to be fixed with the park. There was a crew working on the road/bridge next to hole 12 (swamp monster). This includes new concrete drainage tubes so hopefully it will not collapse again. Also, they've trimmed trees on hole 12 and are draining some of the flooded areas on the hole itself.
This gives me great hope that the course may become a higher priority to the Wayne County Parks & Recs. The head of the maintenance department wants to be involved with the club again, like it was when the course was originally created.
They are also aware now, that not maintaining the course has created nooks and crannies that make it feel like a safe haven for underage drinking.
