Eureka Permanent - Course Preview

Located on the same property as the Iconic Eureka Temp course, Eureka Permanent is located just North of Eureka Lake in Eureka Illinois. Unlike the Eureka Temp course, Eureka Permanent is much more wooded. This course has lots of tight lines and small gaps you need to hit to play well. However, those touch shots are coupled with 4 bomber holes which include a 1106 ft par 5 with an elevated green. This green has a wall 15ft away from the basket which is no guaranteed putt. The bomber holes run parallel to each other so it’s almost guaranteed one hole will be into a headwind. This public course has fewer casual players coming out to play since the difficulty is high.

This preview is intended for those who will not be able to practice the course before the day of the event. It will talk about each hole and give an overview to help strategize for the course. It will also give those who have played both courses a familiarity with how the layout will flow.
