The leader card might catch a break in the weather as Saturday brought about colder temps and rain in the morning. David Eilers and Justin Lammers are atop the division with their opening rounds of 9 under par but it's tight as Ken Climo, Coby Guice and James Cole sit just one stroke behind them at 8 down.
Playing from the short tees turned out to be the right call as tournament director Mike Barnett of Sun King Discs saw earlier in the week there would be inclement weather. Let's watch as this is the first time in 3 years I've seen action from this shortened course with nearly two thousand less feet to play.
