Hello Everyone!

Thank you for signing up for the WGE Fundraiser event and supporting the women of disc golf! We greatly appreciate your participation! We have prepared a FUN safari layout, CTPs, Ace Pot, Payouts, FUN players pack, food and drinks, and the Best Team Name Award for you all!

Freestone Disc Golf Course is located off of Lindsay and Guadalupe Rd in Gilbert, AZ - 1141 E Guadalupe Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85234. Check-in will start promptly at 7am to 8am so PLEASE be on time. Tournament Central will be located between holes 1 and 2. We will have a pop-up shade and tables set up. Please wear a mask when checking in; you will need it if you enter the Freestone Recreation Center. We will have a quick Players Meeting after everyone is checked in. Shot gun start tentatively at 9am – the sooner the better!

At check-in, you will receive your players pack. Please have your phone ready to check yourself in through Udisc. We will be using Udisc as the OFFICIAL scorecard so please create an account BEFORE the event. You will be able to create your card once the holes have been assigned. You will be provided with a paper scorecard for back-up and course layout/rules.

Cards will consist of 4-6 people mixed with Pro and AM. We GREATLY appreciate the amount of participation, however accommodating everyone would not be realistic. We have tried to set up the cards to like players for speed of play, but we ask the Pro/Experienced players to assist their card mates with ruling during the round as we are playing by the PDGA rules. This is a Non-Sanctioned fundraiser; we’re out here for fun, but please play by the rules, be respectful and be mindful of your card mates and surrounding patrons. Tee pads and Fairways are very close throughout the layout so PLEASE be aware of the card in FRONT of you as well as BEHIND you. Please DO NOT throw in until the card in front has completely finished and exited the hole. We do not want anyone getting hit by a rogue disc. Please use caution when crossing fairways and the street to the temp holes.

Also, the course is NOT closed for the event. There may be other disc golfers playing the course as well as patrons walking, jogging, riding bikes along the sidewalks or patrons sitting around the basket/tee pad areas. If there are other disc golfers playing, please give them the right away. It has been advised by the Rec Center to allow recreational players to play through. Please DO NOT jump fences or climb trees. Please pick up your trash, there are plenty of trash receptacles available. Please keep in mind, we DO NOT have an alcohol permit and there may be park rangers, so please be discreet with any open containers and/or any recreation smoking. Again, we’re out here for fun, but this is a public course and park. Please be respectful. Restrooms are available in the Recreation Center and the Park facility. Water stations will be set up in 3 areas of the course. Please utilize the water stations, wear sunblock, and feel free to bring an umbrella as there is minimal shade. We plan to have pizza and drinks ready and available for you after the last card is in. You are welcome to grab a different food chose and come back to the course, however this is part of your entry, ENJOY! Please be patient as we prepare the payouts, CTPS, etc., after the round.

I have attached a map for parking assistance as well as a Udisc “tutorial” for those who may not be familiar with the app. Remember, this is our OFFICIAL scorecard. There are many of us that will be able to help, if needed. The layout is also viewable on Udisc. Again, THANK YOU for supporting our fundraiser and women’s disc golf. We appreciate the amount of support from you all, however and unfortunately, we have reached max capacity for the course and have closed registration a day early. With the size of the course and amount of participants, the speed of play and flow would ultimately hinder if we allowed additional entries. Hello! I am a member of the University of Arizona Disc Golf Club and six of us were planning on signing up today to play in this tournament. We are working to get more women in the club so we figured this would be an awesome tournament to take part in. We are still more than happy to pay the entry fee even if we don't get a player pack or anything like that. If there is anything we can do to get involved in this, that would be great. Is there still room for a team of 2? I know you said 100 player packs but can we still play if we don’t get a pack?

Registration is capped at 100 as I ONLY have 100 players packs. If you happen to sign up after that 100 mark or sign up day of, unfortunately I will not have additional players packs. We are sincerely grateful for SO many participants for this! Thank you and looking forward to seeing everyone!

We currently have 78 awesome people signed up so we’ve added an additional CTP...that’s FIVE CTPS...added another payout spot for PRO and AM (1st, 2nd, 3rd) added more to the payout $80/$60/$40 AND 2 EXTRA holes making it a 20 HOLE LAYOUT!! Super excited for this!!
