Dave, yes we are having 4 ghost groups and two temporary holes as well. This way we are able to accommodate 44 teams. I will add you to the wait list as well.

Can you add me to the waitlist and are you having 4 ghost groups?

Chris Leo    November 2, 2012 at 3:25pm

I have updated the wait list, and due to drop outs have added two teams in. They are currently, as of now, six teams on the wait list. If you are not going to make please let me know ASAP so I can notify people on the wait list.

Looking forward to seeing all of you tomorrow, it's looking like a great day weather wise as well.

As far as the course being playable today, I'm not sure of that hopefully John can let us know. I know he is MORE then busy helping get this course in the ground and doing other things so we all can have a fantastic time tomorrow. Thanks again John for all you do!!

Will the course be playable in the late afternoon/evening tomorrow? If not, I may be able to come out and help the rest of the set up if needed.

Cool, since it rained today and I had to tend to the little trick-or-treaters I did not even go there s tomorrow will be busy.
Setting the flags and installing the baskets should be easy enough. I need to measure the holes and hopefully I will be ready to start that by the time you and Doug get there...

FYI...
Stony Creek 27 Holes from the long tees 10188'
Stony Creek 18 holes long tees 7214', short tees 5684'
Sunnybrook 18 holes long tees 11675', short tees 7980' (both approx. I will get accurate distances before the tournament)
The short tees at Sunnybrook are longer than the long 18 at Stony.
But hey, you get to drive carts and there will be a beer cart available on Saturday ;-)

John Minicuci    October 31, 2012 at 8:47am

The teams pay $15 for the cart or $7.50 per player
Each player pays $5 to golf at Sunnybrook
Lunch per player is $4.50
Soup Kitchen gets $2.00 per team or $1 from each player
We hope the lunch is more of a convenience than trying to push it on the players but 2 rounds here, even with carts, takes us very close to dark so keeping the players close by and a quick lunch only helps.
Also, it would be tough to make lunch for close to 90 players in such a short time so having it prepared in adva ... more

Baskets are hung. The others are assembled and waiting to get slipped into their sleeves on Thursday. I will try to get some pics tomorrow when we place the flags for the tee pads. Meanwhile, here is a little video showing how we had a little fun constructing the course. Remember, having toys at your disposal can be fun! http://www.discgolfscene.com/video/172218
