About this tournament

The Mountain West Collegiate Invitational is the season opener for the College Disc Golf Rocky Mountain Conference. College teams from Colorado and Utah will compete in a two round, College Disc Golf format tournament at Jolley's Ranch, one of the top courses in Utah.

This section of the event is for collegiate teams. Refer to the link at the bottom for local teams.

REGISTRATION: To register collegiate teams, message Max on Facebook or disc golf scene. Team fees are $100 for a men's team of 4 and and $50 for a women's team of 2. CTPs and an ace pot are available, refer to the pertinent section below for more information. Each school may bring multiple teams.

FORMAT: There will be one round of singles and one round of collegiate team doubles. The scores from each team member from the singles round will be averaged, rounded in the teams favor in the case of a number that contains a .5 or better decimal, and will be posted as a single score for round 1. The second round will be a round of collegiate team doubles.

CTP AND ACE POT: An optional 5$ Ace Pot and $3 CTP will be available at registration. The ace pot will be distributed upon an ace being hit, evenly split if more than one are hit, and a CTP throw off will occur if no aces are hit. CTP prizes will be available for 3 holes.

PLAYERS PACKS: Players Packs will be provided by Infinite Discs. Due to turnaround from Infinite, registration by September 18th is necessary to guarantee a players pack.

LAYOUT: The layout for the tournament will be posted on UDISC several weeks before the start of the tournament. In general, the layout will consist of most of the long tees and long basket positions, with each par 4 tee pad being played for the Men's teams. The Women's teams will be playing a mixed layout.

SCORING: Due to patchy service up the canyon, paper scorecards will be used with a backup scorecard on UDISC.

RULES: All College Disc Golf Rules and regulations will be in place for the event. This includes all eligibility, competition, and season rules. The link provided below will have all needed information:
