About this tournament

Join us for the Inaugural Gravitational Pull at the Cove! Gravity Disc Golf is hosting a B-Tier at Mountain Cove Farms! The course will be in top shape after working with the amazing folks at Mountain Cove and a couple of workdays to get this ready to play. We will use an 18 Hole Temp Course with the existing main layout to have a Two-Round, Two Course Event with Tee Times on both Rounds.

Mountain Cove is a gem and a staple in this area and Gravity is excited to bring the course and event back to life! This is an well-designed course and we want to bring an event that will match this. Below you can find the event/course details.

PAYOUT:
Pro divisions with 8 or more - 40%
Pro divisions with 7 or less - 45%
AM divisions with 8 or more - 45%

Pro's will receive PayPal
AM's will receive vouchers/gift cards to use with Gravity Disc Golf on site or on Gravity's website.


LAYOUT AND TEEPADS:
There will be short teepads on certain holes on both courses used to cater to all the divisions. There will be pictures of the map and hole details under the picture sections once the Temp Course and Main Layout are updated.
Main Course - This is a championship level course with a mix of open, wooded, up-hill, down-hill, short, long, placement.
Course Length: Approximately 8,500 ft.
Temp Course - This is a temporary set-up with Portable Baskets and has been designed by one of our defending champs at Mountain Cove, Joey Lutz!

DIVISION MINIMUMS:
All divisions must have at least four players to make a division. (women and junior divisions excluded)

Please carpool if at all possible since parking is limited and campsites/cabins will be in use. Please only park in designated areas and ask if unsure.

PRACTICE DAY INFO:
We will have Friday designated as a practice day. Gravity Disc Golf will be set up all day for Check-in Friday. No Practice Day Cost!


CADDIES AND SPECTATORS:
Both are welcome, caddies must follow the same PDGA rules as players


FOOD: (Working on this option)
There probably will not be food provided. There are not many options close so please prepare to eat before or after your tee time or bring food if you are camping/cabining.
Please clean up after yourselves if you bring food/drinks camping.
Mountain Cove Farms may have their shop open for snacks & drinks.


SPONSORSHIP:
Hole Sponsorship is $50. If you'd like to sponsor the event, Gravity offers larger Sponsorship packages. All proceeds go toward tournament expenses and payout. Running a large B-Tier has additional costs and we appreciate all the support we receive.


CAPS ON POOLS AND DIVISIONS:
Since there are two course and multiple teepads, I will have initial caps on divisions to keep the cards/tees/divisions as balanced as possible.
