I want to thank the Assistant TD’s Tyler Priour, Andy Schneider and Waldo Castro for their countless hours of preparations for this event and making this event a success. (EYE OPENING) It takes an Army and many KUDOS to the members of the Golden Crescent Disc Golf Club for volunteering their time and helping with every little detail! I want to thank Zachery Jansen for believing in me; it was such an honor to Direct the HOTT TOUR Opener! #teamMINT. Big things are happening in Texas baby!!! Thank you to my right hand man Chris Vandagriff and Robcliff Vanderforce for always being there #teamGorilla. Also attached are details on which players qualified for the HOTT Championships. A spot was awarded to the winners of select divisions plus 2nd place in MPO. The Championships are a Matchplay XB-Tier in December. Mint Discs will be adding $5000 to the purse for this event. Paid entry will still be required for all players. What is EDGE?
EDGE stands for Educational Disc Golf Experience. We are a non-profit corporation formed to provide disc golf educational services for youth and adolescents. We provide an extensive program that teaches disc golf fundamentals and skills. We created the curriculum by following the lead of the National Association for Sports and Physical Education and aligning the lesson plans to that organization's Standard for Physical Education. We have grants available to help schools and youth programs pay for that program. We get the grant money through kind donations and partnerships

About the Golden Crescent Disc Golf Club:
The GCDGC was established in 2021 by a small group of dedicated players to promote, oversee and grow the sport of disc golf in Victoria and the surrounding counties. The GCDGC today has grown exponentially and is now nearly 50 members strong! Members of the GCDGC have been involved, in varying capacities, with the continued improvement and expansion of the free-to-play courses: Riverside, Fox’s Bend, and Patriot Park. For 2022 we have many events and projects planned, one being the renovation of the kiosk at Riverside! It is our hope that you can support our mission to make Victoria and the surrounding counties the best place to sling a disc in south Texas and help support the 39th Annual Victoria Open.

RV's: Due to limited space in the parking lot of HQ area we ask that R.V's utilize the Victoria RV Park (River Park) @ 2001 N Vine St, Victoria, TX 77901 (COST $12) with water & electric or you can utilize the parking lot @ Rose bud stadium however no water or electrical available. (Only Authorized tournament staff RV's will be allowed at HQ)

Rules & Regulations

With the desire to keep Riverside Park beautiful and safe for all of our visitors here are rules and
regulations to follow when here for the 2022 Victoria Open.
Park hours: Normal hours of operation for Riverside Park are 6 am. to 11 pm (Not sure if they will close gates during event)
Throwing ashes/ charcoal on the ground is PROHIBITED. & No camp fires as there are no fire rings!
Cutting live trees or branches is PROHIBITED.
Overnight camping ONLY allowed in designated camp area highlighted above.
Dumping waste water on the ground is PROHIBITED.
Pets MUST be Leash at ALL times and dispose of excrements.

Waitlist will be by division so please get on the waitlist if your div is full."
