Last years Michigan State Finals was the worlds biggest B-Tier with 371 players. Lets beat that with over 400 this year !


YOU MUST HAVE A BERTH TO REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A BERTH YOU MUST PLAY THE LAST CHANCE QUALIFIER OR PAY NON BERTH FEE OF $10 IF SPOTS IN YOUR DIVISION ARE AVAILABLE AFTER AUG 24.

Last chance to win a berth package for the top ten finishers.

This will not guarantee you a spot in the state championship.
We will fill all available spots in each pool by score. If pool is full you may choose another pool (division) that you qualify for (PDGA rating).

At registration for the LCQ you will pay your entry to the Championship. If you do not make it into the Championship we will refund your entry $.

You may sign up for the LCQ even if you do not play in the LCQ. This will save you a spot in the Championship if spots are still available after the LCQ. You will not have to pay a late fee Sat morning. We do however need to know those are your intentions so we will know to give you the avail. spot. You will also need to pre pay your entry fee. All Sat registration will have a $20 late fee (LCQ +$10). This $ will go towards the purse.
All age protected divisions MUST have 3 or more players for the division to be held.

All Open: Goliath, Beast, Leviathan Longs
Am1: Beauty, Leviathan Medium, Flip City
AM2: Scottville, Beauty, Beast
AM3: Leviathan Shorts, Flip City, Scottville
All Others: Flip City, Scottville, Beauty

Friday Aug 31st
Check In- 10 am to 4pm (MUST pre-reg by Friday Aug 24th-)
Pre-reg is also possible for the QUALIFIER- we will be tracking pool totals and we will only be taking Qualifier regs up to the Pool Maximums-THE LAST CHANCE QUALIFIER WILL BE A QUALIFIER THIS YEAR- All who play may not get into the tournament.

Check in is at- MASON CO PARK PAVILLION on FRIDAY
(Paid Pre-reg can check in AT COURSE Sat morning by 8:30)



LAST CHANCE QUALIFIER at 4 pm for remaining berths.
One round on BEAST for Pools Pro and Am 3- ALL OTHER divisions play BEAUTY- best scores win ALL remaining / not claimed berths- All players who play Qualifier in the past have made it into the State Final Tournament but it is NOT a guarantee! Cost is $10. Top scores in Qualifiers will receive Berth Package (10 avail-(to be divided by division)).

Cost is $10 per player- Bring a partner- Divisions- Pro, Master, Am 1, Am 2, Am Mixed- (2 teams makes a division)


REGISTRATION resumes after Last Chance Qualifier till
9 pm!! This year when you sign up for Last Chance Qualifier we will allow you to tournament reg- if you do not qualify for State Finals your money will be refunded. THIS SHOULD GET EVERYONE HEADING OUT RIGHT AFTER LCQ.

LATE registration- 8am to 9am (for ANY remaining spots)
MASON CO PARK PAVILLION- $10 Berth fee, $10 late fee, plus registration fees-! All persons this year MUST PRE-REG ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE- this will allow us to ensure the Pools will not overfill- you will still be responsible for reporting to your course on time!!! ALL LAST CHANCE MONEY AND LATE FEES ADDED TO PAY OUT- Payout for ams will be at least 150%

THE FIVE POOLS AGAIN THIS YEAR WILL TEST OUR CAPACITY- BEAR WITH US AGAIN AS WE TRY TO HIT 400+ PLAYERS !!!!!!

CAMPING ON THE CHEAP- SOME camping at the TD’s house will be allowed BY PERMISSION ONLY- CAMPING will be $20 for port-a-jon/ trash dumpster fees. Call first- DO NOT JUST SHOW UP AND EXPECT TO CAMP- it will be closely monitored this year- and again by DAN GIPE. IF THE MESS CONTINUES THIS WILL BE IT!

Immediately following all Sunday rounds- REPORT TO MASON CO PARK PAVILLION- ½ hour after last scoreboard reaches Mason Co Park the $350 SKINS MATCH will begin at the top of Beast #1 hill- MARK ELLIS- RINGMASTER!! After the Skins Match the Awards Ceremony will begin IMMEDIATELY- NO EARLY PRIZES WILL BE HANDED OUT- DO NOT ASK!!!!!

Welcome again to the 17th annual tournament at Ludington and the 21st State Championship sponsored by the MDGO!

Changes for this year-
Riverside Park, Scottville
Scottville now has 24 holes at Riverside Park on the south end of town- It is now a permanent piece of the State Finals- There are now 15 tight wooded holes and 9 in the big field. Technical AND big air!

Leviathan, Ludington
The four year project to cement the long and short holes at Leviathan has begun- WE KNOW THE TEE PADS SUCK- you may tee BEHIND any mat instead of on them.

Mason Co Park- Ludington and
Flip City- Shelby

The three courses at Mason Co Park and Flip City at Shelby remain unchanged- The PRO tees will be used by ALL divisions at Flip City and the BLACK LINE on the tees is the tee- NOT the end of the pad

Bathroom issues at Mason Co Park will mean portajons for use as the Mens room- urinals only. Too many people for the septic system!!
