Mark,
The course assignments have not changed in a while. I am playing MA2 and my girlfriend is FA2- is there any way I can request D Pool Intermediate so we can commute together? I am not sure which pool my very average player rating would put me. If not, no big deal, she can ride with the always accommodating Ms. Hibbs.

no worries. Thanks anyway. My rating is pretty low, but I don't think it is 91st out of 130 low, so we will figure out rides.

Bryan Kincaid   August 20, 2019 at 3:12pm

So the bottom players in MA2 will be in C or D?

Mark Janssen   August 20, 2019 at 5:54pm

They would be in D Pool

Juan Sebastian Perez    August 19, 2019 at 3:04pm

Mark, how will the intermediate pools be split? By rating right? 1/2 of the players and the other half?

Mark Janssen   August 19, 2019 at 3:44pm

It looks like we will be splitting by rating and then distribute the first round cards randomly within the pools

Juan Sebastian Perez   August 19, 2019 at 6:42pm

Ok thank you!!

Guy Prezioso    August 17, 2019 at 8:40pm

Hi Mark, can you please move me from MA50 to men's Rec please? Name is Guy Prezioso, PDGA # 96927, Thanks

Mark Janssen   August 17, 2019 at 11:32pm

Guy, if you use the link provided on your registration email, you can do that request.

Ken Bess   August 19, 2019 at 3:07pm

Or if you go to the Registered Players tab it will show what you are registered for at the top and you can click edit there.

James Jurden    August 16, 2019 at 3:02pm

MA50 starts at which park?

Mark Janssen   August 16, 2019 at 4:11pm

Have you referred to the schedule posted on www.SoutheasternAmateurChampionship.com under the Course and Pad Assignments tab?

James Jurden   August 16, 2019 at 5:42pm

Thanks!!

Josiah Gorman    August 8, 2019 at 6:08pm

My dad is coming in to caddy for me, and we were hoping to play together on Friday for doubles. I know that isn't random draw, but we'd really appreciate it if there's a way.

My 785-rated dad is definitely like bringing GG. If it's not possible I totally understand, but if I were trying to win taking the random draw would increase my chances considerably.

Josiah Gorman   August 12, 2019 at 4:26pm

We really just want to play together, we don't care about winning cash. I'd be happy to pay in and be ineligible to win. As before, if it's not possible I get it, but it can't hurt to ask.

Mark Janssen   August 12, 2019 at 9:01pm

When you sign up for double please make this request on that day. We should be able to accommodate if you are not eligible for payout.

Park Chapman    August 5, 2019 at 4:48pm

Hi Mark, unfortunately I have to pull out. Maybe next year!

The website states that all 5th rounds on Monday will be at BFP, but the course assignments for MA 40 states the 5th round will be at North. Can you clarify

Mark Janssen   August 2, 2019 at 6:38pm

I will look at the website, the course schedule is more up to date. Sorry for the confusion.

Caleb Flack    August 2, 2019 at 3:40pm

Are the pin positions set for the tournament or will they be moved?

Mark Janssen   August 2, 2019 at 6:39pm

There are a few that will be moved still, mostly on Parkside. But 90% are all correct currently.

Mike Gambini   August 1, 2019 at 6:33pm

Sorry, to clarify, MY specific pool assignment. I saw the C & D breakdown already.

Mark Janssen   August 1, 2019 at 9:10pm

Individual to Pools will not be available until after registration closes and division numbers are firm.

Mike Gambini   August 5, 2019 at 3:59am

Thanks!

Matthew Brobst    July 30, 2019 at 12:41pm

If all spots are not filled will there be more spots added to other divisions?

Allen Hall   July 30, 2019 at 12:45pm

More specifically MA2

Mark Janssen   July 30, 2019 at 1:00pm

Will depend on the Pool. As each pool has pre-determined number of spots, only division numbers within the pools will fluctuate. For MA2, if the FA2 do not fill a few spots may be created..

Matthew Brobst   July 30, 2019 at 1:22pm

Ok thank you.

Nate Renshaw    July 28, 2019 at 7:01pm

Your website isn’t functioning properly. Can you post the course layouts on disc golf scene?

I'm using Google Chrome via an Android phone. Not sure of other browsers.

Mark Janssen   July 31, 2019 at 6:18pm

The Course Information selection is a tab that opens up the other choices, it' not a page to itself but a navigation button. It works on my chrome/android. You'll need to turn your phone landscape to see all 5 rounds. If you continue to have issues, try it on a desktop.

Scott Alexander   July 31, 2019 at 8:05pm

I figured it out. I needed to put the page in landscape view after it loaded and then the drop-down menu (that's what I meant in my previous comment, not link) worked. The Course Information option won't work in portrait view on my phone from the main menu. It must be a dhtml thing and just with my cheap phone. Thanks.

Joseph Przygoda    July 24, 2019 at 10:56am

I am currently registered for Am40. I was wondering if an opening happens if I can be moved to intermediate please?

Mark Janssen   July 24, 2019 at 11:15am

You would need to sign up again for the Intermediate division/wait-list. if you are accepted into the event in the Intermediate division, then request a refund for the Am40 registration.

Morgan Weed    July 11, 2019 at 4:04pm

Just wondering where the 5th course is. I know turkey and Barnett but never heard of Parkside. Is that 65th infantry?

Morgan Weed   July 11, 2019 at 4:05pm

And also when will pad assignments be out?

Bill Vanderhoof   July 11, 2019 at 7:46pm

Parkside is at Barnett Park. Parkside and North Course.

Mark Janssen   July 14, 2019 at 2:25am

Pad assignments will most likely stay the same as next year which are posted on the SoutheasternAmateurChampionship.com website

Paul K    July 9, 2019 at 12:58pm

With 36 MA50 participants already in the field, any chance of introducing the MA55 to this tourney and allow those who qualify and wish to move into this category?

Mark Janssen   July 9, 2019 at 7:59pm

Not in the cards for this year. Would have needed to have that established when registration opened as many people will not look back and see the new option.

Paul K   July 9, 2019 at 10:58pm

Thx Mark. Plz consider for next year.

Bryan Kincaid    July 8, 2019 at 6:35pm

What courses are MA2 playing? The last update on the site says 8/27/18. Is that still going to be the schedule?

Mark Janssen   July 9, 2019 at 7:48pm

NO a new schedule will be posted. Although MA2 will play all five courses offered in the event. The order still needs to be determined.

Shawn Penniman    July 8, 2019 at 12:48pm

Hey there Mark, I will be coming from out of town looking to get a hotel just wanted to confirm what I was reading on the main page, that Juniors and Rec players will only be playing Saturday and Sunday just looking for confirmation from what I read thanks Shawn..

Mark Janssen   July 9, 2019 at 7:49pm

That is correct. Rec only plays 4 rounds on Sat-Sun. No Monday play.

Victor "Doosh" Smith    July 5, 2019 at 4:33pm

Bagermediate (Intermediates) Division is 130.
What a huge Division. All we need is 12 more players
and we'll be Full. Pass the word, let's completely fill this Division.
