Is entrance to the parks included in the registration?

It is not. Bill Frederick Park is $2 per person, $4 per car, per day. Gordon Barnett Park is free.

Thank you

Just played all the courses for the first time. Was wondering why the woods course at bill Frederick is being used? Seems a long ways away from being a course that can be used in competition especially an a tier? Very grown up and seemed to be throwned together in the woods. Not a lot of decent fairways. Kind of spray n pray.

Awesome. I cant wait for this course to get a little cleaned up. The weather has been crazy down there for sure and i know its hard to tame such a large piece of land. This tournament is going to be cool. Cant wait!!

I have been playing a little over a year . Is this a tournament where you have to pass the rules test to participate.

no, but as an A-tier event you do need to be a member or the PDGA.

I am from Ga. and I'm coming down for the tournament. Was wondering will the baskets be in long or short pin placement? Also, can you tell me the order of the courses that the advanced played last year? Just want to see what a good score to shoot for when I come down to practice in a couple of weeks.

First off...happy to have you make the trip! www.SoutheaseternAmateurChampionship has the course order - it has not been updated from last year with exception to changing out for The Woods course. Advanced will play all long tees and the baskets will be in a mix of placements, with about a 60/40 fa ... more

Logan, I wrote on this post that our club will provide something so that all 3 or 4 who sign up will receive some type of prize for participating and competing for 4 rounds. We got this, no biggie or sacrifice to support the future of the sport.

Logan Gibson   June 28, 2017 at 8:36am

Thank you so much for the information. Now time to get the wifes permission

Mark Janssen   August 7, 2017 at 3:09am

Logan, are you still thinking about registering a junior in to the event? They would play Sat and Sun.

Mandy Sierra    June 15, 2017 at 1:44pm

No Jr's division ??? Would love to sign my 11 year old son up. Not sure why Jr's don't get a chance here....

Mandy, does logan's nephew still want to play? if we can get one more player they are willing to split the 6'em to 2 threesomes...if not, 5 won't fly...
