Anyone else enjoying the result of being in the POISON OAK at hole #14 Sunday?

Thank you and good job Beast for getting the rival clubs started for the season. Had a PB going second round till hip gave out and took a tumble, last 4-5 holes in pretty good pain and hobbling worse then usual. Still got out even on second round, to bad 1st round was not so good.
Thanks to those on my cards today that made it enjoyable play,
Steve

Just curious as to what the requirements are for a group or club to claim a course as their home course? Is it work put in currently to maintain it or what basis is it on. Just wondering as to what in particular makes Keizer a home course.
Thanks
Steve
In Steve's defense, there has been SOME confusion about "RIVAL CLUBS" rules. As I have said before, as far as the players are conceded the "RIVAL CLUB" events are simply singles stroke-play with a points scoring system (NOT RELATED TO EA. EVENTS PAYOUT) that reflects players ... more
As it is uniquely difficult to organize meetings between TDs of a wide spread area (as "RIVAL CLUBS" defines) some meetings of "RIVAL CLUBS" committee of TDs may happen AT "RIVAL CLUBS" events. This does not affect the players as each event is ultimately run by the committee of TDs with only one "host" TD.
Simply put, I am only 1/3 of the "RIVAL CLUBS" 2013 committee of TDs and despite being the founder of the series I only can support ideas the majority of "RIVAL CLUBS" TDs support. If "RIVAL CLUBS" grows to 6 or 7 clubs in each series the FACT that I have little control ... more

You don't need to pre register for these events to best of knowledge, haven't in past. Just show up in time for registration day of and all should be well. I believe DORC's are playing Keizer early so Beast should be there but might be finishing their round before getting back to parking lot to register folks.
See you there

Only one week to the 2013 RIAL CLUBS #1 at Keizer Rapids. The 2013 RIVAL CLUBS Rule Book will be available to view at registration ONLY after I have the approval of the other RIVAL CLUBS committee TDs. I can say though that the rules apply mostly to the club TDs, NOT the players. RIVAL CLUBS is singles stroke-play events in a series for points and PDGA rules for stoke-play apply.

Just curious if there is any update on the 2013 RIVAL CLUBS Rule Book for general players to see what is happening and how its happening this year.
Thanks
Steve

By popular demand the RIVAL CLUBS #1 event is being postponed to April 21 as to not conflict with Easter. The RIVAL CLUBS committee of tournament directors will have the 2013 RIVAL CLUBS rule book will be approved and released soon.

Rivalries occur in the RIVAL CLUBS scoring system between players of the same club as well as players of opposing clubs because of the fact that a player may steal points from a teammate in a single event, wile the series total wins the division.
The RIVAL CLUBS system does not provide ANY advantage to sandbagging as intermediate & advanced divisions do.

Some changes to divisions to this event by a 2/3 vote from the RIVAL CLUBS committee of TDs. I'm still waiting to hear from Terry but I would assume he would not object to this change. The divisions are now Juniors <13 boys, Juniors <13 girls, Juniors <16 boys, Juniors <16 girls, General, Open, Woman, Masters, Grandmasters, Sr. Grandmasters.
This change will affect the Total club points potential for each event, but will be fair for the Juniors & Masters divisions.
or any prettier..gotta get it when ya can get it my Brother.lol

itchy taint syndrome? ;-)
Behind my knees and on my forearms. No uniquely sensitive areas yet. I don't expect to play Keizer Rapids again for a wile.
Poison oak, stinging nettle, blackberries...you name it, I got into it. My legs are a wreck!
keizer is that bad?????
Ive played keizer like 20 times in the last month and i aint got nothin. Lol. Im thinkin im immiune from rolling in the **** when i was younger. Good luck to all of you that have it tho. I hope you get better real soon.
Shorts are not recommended btw... its defiantly not Pier Park...
the only thing you gotta watchput for at pier is DOG CRAP........maybe you could convince some people that smoking poison oak gets you high......that stuff will be gone in no time
I'm using "IvyRest" cream made by Blistex. It seems to reduce the itching and stop the spread. Also a foaming soap is available by "IvyRest". I'm sending an email to Blistex requesting sponsorship of Keizer Rapids park in the form of tubes of cream as CTP prizes.
Beast...FYI if your drink the milk from a goat that has been eating poison oak you will be immune to it... Kinda goes along with Myk's idea.
