Also, if I get on a waitlist for like 17/16 on Am2 for Example, and I'm like 50th on waitlist, when a spot opens for Am1 do I have to play there or do I wait until Am2 Opens up?

Hi Ezra, unfortunately there is no Junior divisions being offered. Juniors that participated last year did so in the MA2 division.

How did so many Ottawa area people get to pre-register? They all registered prior to the event allowing registrations. And now there are wait lists...

Active Ettyville Super Spin club members are allowed to pre-register for the event. These are not "Ottawa area people". These are the people who make it all happen. Here is the PDGA guidelines for this. https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/102

It's $10 to get on the waitlist. Yes we will refund it if you don't get in.

It usually says, 2 registrants / 8 spots, on the Registered Players tab. You can check other tournaments.

i was in at 8:02, but shocked to see that it was waitlisted already and did a poor job of trying to figure out what had happened, haha. when i saw MA1 switch to waitlist, i knew i messed up.

Sure you did nothing wrong. MA2 is a division with the least capacity to meet all the new demand. We will do everything we can to increase capacity.

I believe everyone is on a temporary wait list...the main page keeps updating how many of the 248 have registered, but it also says at the top “no players have been posted”....I believe they correct/post soon.

Are we allowed to sign up for the tournament WITHOUT being ODSA members? As long as we sign up to be an ODSA member before the tournament, we are good?

Yes. This part is handled by a declaration to be a member by the event. ODSA not PDGA to be clear.

Looking forward to the camping option as well, great idea. Looking to see dates and what amenities are available.....not to say “this should be available”, but to know how to prepare accordingly.....campfire, washrooms, dates, etc.
