Is advanced full, i want to switch to advanced.

- Gwillim -    June 16, 2011 at 3:12pm

Best thing to do would be to take a look at last year's results...
Keep in mind that most people new to tournies play 2-3 strokes worse during tournaments as they do during casual rounds.

Brian Vierck    June 16, 2011 at 1:49pm

I plan to sign up, but not sure about the division. What should an advanced player average at pier?

Steve Carson    June 15, 2011 at 7:59pm

Your guess is as good as mine Matthew. You can try this site to get a better idea:

Seriously, we will be posting registration updates as soon as possible, and the quantity remaining shows on the product page, so stay tuned. My hunch is there will be spots left, but I can't guarantee anything.

Mat Owens    June 15, 2011 at 7:14pm

how fast do you plan this to fill up. do you think intermediate will be full by the 30th?

Steve Carson    June 15, 2011 at 6:57pm

Advanced Men will be in Pool A.
80% probability that Intermediate Men will be Pool B.
The rest won't be decided until we know which divisions fill with how many players.

Steve Carson    June 8, 2011 at 10:12pm

Registration will be available ONLY online. The web site for registration is

THE "BEAST" OF THE WOODS    June 8, 2011 at 7:02am

Will REGISTRATION be online? May be short notice for many CCDG Flight Crew players. If this event fills up fast it my be difficult to fill the shuttle with registered players. I don't charge for my shuttle service just like to see me fellow Capital City Crew enjoy out of town events as I do. If you would be so kind to send me news of how to register with enough time to get the word out to my fellow Salem based chuckers.

THE "BEAST" OF THE WOODS    May 4, 2011 at 3:14pm

Many CCDG guys are excited about this event. Will you have an online registration? When will you start registration?

THE "BEAST" OF THE WOODS    April 18, 2011 at 4:57am

I'm the CCDG secretary, T.D. for the BATTLES, and CCDG shuttle driver for the CCDG FLIGHT CREW (out of salem turny posse) I think we may be able to bring 9 players to your championship. Please keep me informed as to when we can preregister. CCDG has grown up a lot in the last year and we want to test our skills.

Steve Carson    March 23, 2011 at 2:16pm

There will not be any qualifiers. Registration will be open to all amateurs until the event fills.

Jeremy Fancher    March 23, 2011 at 3:52am

will there be qualifier events to secure a spot for this event?

Steve Carson    March 16, 2011 at 6:25pm

Do I have to be a PDGA member?
You do not need to be a member, but non-members pay a $10 fee to the PDGA in order to play in any PDGA sanctioned event.

When does registration open?
We'll be opening registration in May.

Is there a cap on number of players?
We are increasing the number of players this year to 144. 72 spots will be reserved for Advanced players, and 72 for Intermediate players.

Steve Carson    March 14, 2011 at 10:22pm

Registration will most likely open in May.
