About this tournament
The NOVA Tag Team Championships is an Amateur-Only XB Tier event at the Burke Lake Campside Course. The format is BYOP doubles with one round of "best throw" doubles and one round of "modified alternate throw" doubles.
This is a True Amateur Event. All players will receive a players pack worth equal to or greater than their entry fee. This will include at least one commemorative tournament-stamped disc, a DC Discs gift certificate that can be turned in for a disc of your choice (up to $18) or a dri-fit shirt, and lunch will be provided.
All Amateur players and Pro players who qualify as determined by PDGA standards are eligible for this event. Both teammates must qualify for the division they are registered for, i.e. a 903 rated player and an 855 rated player must sign up for no lower than MA2. Completed teams will have registration preference over singletons - you must have BOTH players registered to have your spot confirmed. Use your team name when signing up to ensure both players are on the same team.
NOVA early registration begins on January 27th. At least one member of your team must be a NOVA DGA member to qualify for the early registration period.
