Michigan State Doubles Championship presented by Big Lake Brewing

Do you have what it takes to be a State Champion?
No cashless pre-registration. You can use the link here on Disc Golf Scene to register. The registration close date will be updated closer to the event date. Any day-of sign-ups will be charged an additional $5 fee.
Competition Format:
Non-mixed divisions:
Deerfield - 1st 9 holes: Alternating Shot - 2nd 9 holes: Best Score
Wildwood - 18 holes Best Shot
Mixed divisions: 8 teeshots each from each partner and 2 "wild card" tee shots
Format Definitions:
Best Score - Both team members play the hole as if they were playing singles. Only one score is placed on the scorecard for that hole and that is the best individual score from the team.
Alternating Shot - Player A tees off, Player B takes the next shot, Player A takes the next shot etc. Fairly straight forward. Before the start of the round, each team will announce to the other team which player will be teeing off on even numbered holes and which player will be teeing off on odd numbered holes.
Best Shot - Normal doubles as we know it. Both players shoot, you take the best shot.
Wild Card tee shots - it doesn't matter who's tee shot you take.
We look forward to making this event bigger and better than in years past. It was moved from labor day to this weekend in an effort to make it a more official platform for rewarding state doubles titles. We hope you enjoy the event!
