So I put in the wrong time for registration to close, I have fixed that and you are able to register up until 2359 EST 3/3/14. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Ben Bobowski   March 7, 2014 at 11:24am

Lol 3-3-14?

Chris Leo   March 7, 2014 at 11:24am

I'm awesome! 3/7/14 how about that, no need for Doc Brown and his time machine to register now.

Ben Bobowski   March 7, 2014 at 11:29am

Haha :) glad it is fixed

Ben Bobowski    March 7, 2014 at 8:43pm

Holes 1 - 7. Holes 10 - 16. Hole 19. Holes 25 - 27. Is this the layout for the tournament?

Wayne Jodway    March 5, 2014 at 8:32pm

I will play this tournament regardless if its at the boo boo bends. I'd just like to note if it really starts warming up before sunday. I imagine the Bends being flooded. Either way I will not fray, I'll be out there with Nikes.

Don Warfield    March 5, 2014 at 7:40am

Been playing bends for past 8 weeks , pads 1-16 are clear,17-21 not so much,22-24 clear as well. ground fairly packed through fairway

John Minicuci   March 5, 2014 at 5:52pm

Thank you Don for the effort all winter and the message!

Jason "raffle Bagger" Phillips    March 5, 2014 at 5:39am

Word on the street is... I'm playing this tournament! No matter where it's at. BUT I do not have two turn tables or a microphone. So where it's at??

Jason "raffle Bagger" Phillips   March 5, 2014 at 10:19am

to much fun.

John Minicuci   March 5, 2014 at 5:54pm

Where's my milk and honey?

Michael Lee Cook    March 5, 2014 at 1:41am

if we are worried about the snow play it at FF. only place with hard snow and tee pad that are fine but hole 1 and 12. 2 ppl and 30 mins would make it the perfect place. just saying

brent moreno "WPD"   March 4, 2014 at 5:10pm

yea if we would play there everyone would play open its that easy of a course def leave it at stony or riverbends

John Minicuci   March 5, 2014 at 5:56pm

Not worried about snow. It is everywhere. The issue is trampled down footpaths or not. It is easier to manage a course where there are footpaths than walking in ball-deep snow!

allen fleming   March 6, 2014 at 2:45pm

im just happy to.come home with all my disc i love winter golf but damn trying to find them in 2 plus feet of snow

Brian WPD Frawley    March 5, 2014 at 12:33am

Wolf Pack Discs will have a creative side game after the second round for a mystery box! Save your doll hairs.

John Minicuci   March 5, 2014 at 5:56pm

Ahem, that is the ORIGINAL Wolf Pack Discs to you sir. Oooowwwwwww!

Brian WPD Frawley   March 6, 2014 at 3:13pm

it was that deep of snow. we are talking up over my knees. with a bag on that was slow going.

Kevin Eggy Egnatoski WPD   March 5, 2014 at 7:28pm

Deep snow .or deep snow doesnt really matter where it played ..

Lori Mullen WPD   March 5, 2014 at 11:43pm

who cares where it is for god sake... shut up and throw or dont go. pretty simple. stop busting balls

Scott 'bernie' Burnham    March 4, 2014 at 4:58pm

Bag Tags will be rolled out at this event! Details to follow. Tags are sweet and still just $10. All proceeds go to the Course Improvement Fund.

Timmy Redman    March 4, 2014 at 9:22am

I havent been to Riverbends in a while, are there any places to grab lunch close to course or should we plan on packing?

Joshua Ballinger   March 4, 2014 at 11:51am

there is plenty less than 10 minutes away

Brian WPD Frawley   March 4, 2014 at 2:31pm

Turn right out of park, head to van-dyke turn left and there is a ton of fast food within 1 mile

John Minicuci    March 4, 2014 at 8:44am

The event will be officially moved to River Bends. We will be playing an altered 18 hole layout. We are proposing this layout:
Holes 1 - 7. Holes 10 - 16. Hole 19. Holes 25 - 27. (
If anyone who has already registered does not wish to play River Bends and would like a refund, feel free to let us know and we will do so right away. We are sorry for having to do this but the Winter of 2014 is bigger than we are!

FYI: I sent 23 messages last night to the players who had already pre-Reg'd for the event asking them if they would mind or withdraw due to the course change. 21 responses came back and of those 21, every one approves the change. Thank you to those for responding. Now we can focus solely on the competition at hand and it is time for the March Mudfest er.. March Icefest?

mike walker   March 6, 2014 at 8:03am

many people have put in tee pad duty at bends this winter.but whoever did them right after the 12 inches plus snowfall in janurary or so deservers some made the difference between ice pads and cement pads for the rest of the and dan b played shovel of shame a week after that and a ... more

Dan Bienkowski   March 6, 2014 at 4:38pm

Mike, sounds like too many rum and cokes for you bud. The only time ive been to bends this year was the recent outing with you, Jeff, Buban and Tony. If I recall I parked hole 6 for a tap in duece, smashed chains for a near ace on one of the new holes and finished under par. That was the 2nd time ... more

Jesse Simpson    March 4, 2014 at 6:45am

Dont forget about daylight savings on Sunday spring forward one hour

Ben Bobowski    March 4, 2014 at 3:45am

So is this now officially at firefighters or still aiming to be at Stoney? I'm glad some people have stepped up though

Timmy Redman   March 3, 2014 at 9:22pm

doug granby    March 4, 2014 at 2:19am

Me and sam are going out Thursday im taking a shovel salt and a good spirit. Lets do this guys stony already has minimal tournaments lets keep this one here.

Ben Bobowski   March 3, 2014 at 4:54pm

Holes 1,2,3, 18 and some of 17 have been taken care of. Just letting you which ones haven't been touched yet

Joshua Ballinger   March 3, 2014 at 6:27pm

I thought that the will to have the tournament there would help me shovel more but its the 1-2 inch's of solid ice on the pad that holds you back

Jay B    March 3, 2014 at 11:44pm

Ok, the park said it was a no go, they just dont have the equipment to travel the course or manpower to get months of snowfall caught up for us by sunday which is understandable and atleast the effort was made to solve the problem, however i did discuss with him about in the future having the park possibly leave us buckets of salt and shovels at each tee pad in the fall so we ourselves will have the means to keep them clean ourselves and not have to drag a shovel and 50lb bag of salt around the ... more
