I just heard that there are three bands already confirmed for the After party at the Farm House with at least one other that is trying to make the date. What a celebration to wrap up an amazing summer of state wide Disc Golf Leagues.

Remember you must be registered by this Saturday, Sept 26th. You must be registered in the Grand Finale to be eligible for payouts based on points in the series.

Sorry one minor correction to my post below about reg fee and distribution toward payouts. I said "From the reg fees $20 is going to the Doubles payout." and that this will provide for the Double normal league payout. It's actually $10, which provides double normal league round payouts. The rest goes to the other payouts. So the Non-Player Pack option has 100% of money taken in going to payouts.

It looking like an option will be added for "no player pack" at a lower fee, all of which is used for the payouts, Doubles round and the Final points position payouts for those players registered. As you know there is no MiCPS league fee so this is the money we have for payouts. We raised some money over the summer and are still trying to get a bit more and this is added to the event.

Note for the online registration there is an unavoidable credit card processing fees but this is the cost of doing business. Yes we are trying to expand the capabilities of the Disc Golf community and the bankers want some fee for their services to make this possible. The cost of global secure banking....

So 100% of the non-player pack reg fee (minus credit card processing fees) is going to the payouts. The same amount from each of the other registration fees as well and the remainder just covers the tee-shirt or Dri-fit. DGLA is not making any money off the registration fee. Even the shirts currently being sold have 100% going back to local disc golf, $2 to the primary league of that player and the rest to this event. Shirts sold after this event will go toward the next event.

The cancellation policy is also being explored. There are several factors. The online reg has the processing fees, if the shirt option is selected the shirt will have been ordered and available at the event, no money for shipping. We need the number of players to determine how many courses are needed and confirm with the parks that we will be using their facilities. We hope to prepare the payout table and other planning for quick and verified determination of payouts. Determine and announce things like the Skin amount for the final 9.

By registering, a player makes themselves eligible for payout based on final points standing. We hope to post an update on these topics in a Event Announcement very soon. I know life is a bit unpredictable and there are very few guarantees but we are trying to make this as easy, affordable, fun for everyone, and still be achievable.

just sharing my thoughts here, providing some feedback. i am hesitant to register for this event for a few reasons. being down the leaderboard with no chance at getting in the finals, i am only playing the doubles round in the AM.

so-
1- i don't want to pay for a tshirt. i don't want a tshirt.
2- i don't know how much of my entry fee will actually be going to the doubles payout. i am always a fan of 100% payout, and with the tshirt, i know it will not be 100% payout. i' ... more
