Sorry to ask this so soon to the event, but this is my first Ace Race and I'm curious. How does the grouping of players work? I registered with 2 close friends of mine, and would like to play through the event with them. Do all the players split up across the course? I guess will I be separated from them is the main question. Thanks in advance!

Hi William, we may have about 140 players actually on the course playing at the same time spread around 9 holes meaning there could be groups of 15 or so. I will encourage many players to carpool with their friends and yes, then play in the same group with whom they desire. The event is for fun and playing with your friends, family, travel companions makes the event that much more exciting.

Tournament announcement: I checked with the Troy Parks and Rec today and was told the pavillion is rented. For those of you who know Raintree Park, parking is very limited. Please carpool in as many people as you can fit in your car / truck. We can always have people park at The Gathering Place and head on over there after the event is over.

I also missed the online registration and was going to pay today (wed). I be able to pay once my paycheck gets deposited. Is there any way to get the online put back on? I didn't want to send a check like usual, but if I have to I will. I liked the fact you guys had the online reg this year. Please let me know.

I just tried to register online and couldn't... I think I missed the registration by about 1 minute. I play in the Monday leagues... is there a way I can secure and pre-pay a spot prior to Saturday?

The Motor City Chain Gang will donate a disc to the first Ace. We are looking for additional prizes to be donated, for instance:
1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. Maybe longest Ace, metal hits, longest drive to get here, you can be creative.
