i know man, adding is hard.

Daemon Stahlin    May 3, 2011 at 11:05pm

WOW excellent point matt z. we certainly did not hear henry complaining about last year when they paid out 60%! WOW mike grow up.

Mike Fortunato    May 3, 2011 at 10:56pm

All I can say is that we try very hard to make it a good experience for all the players. I understand your concerns but I just think you can go about addressing them with a bit more respect. That is all.

Jim Daniels    May 3, 2011 at 10:52pm

Mike, besides trying to make Fortch never want to TD a tournament again, what exactly are you trying to accomplish? Your point about payouts was a good one but now you are beating it like a dead horse. Everyone knows the pizza wasn't the greatest but I don't believe the club should be held responsible as previous food from the BeeLine was better. There is only so many people willing to volunteer their time to put on tournaments, I think positive reinforcement is more warranted here than this.

Daemon Stahlin    May 3, 2011 at 10:46pm

then don't show up next year you crybaby! last time you turned into a whiner because you added your scorecard wrong to bump you out of cash. i heard rumors of literal tears that you shed while trying to convince the TD to waive your penalty. the tears worked, your penalty was waived and you got to keep last cash instead of taking your penalty like a man, like most of us would have done. learn a lesson and take it like a man! no respect from you=no respect for you.

MATH! amazing

Matt Zajechowski    May 3, 2011 at 12:34am

your greed rivals few mr fortunato

Mike Fortunato    May 3, 2011 at 12:09am

To address Mike's concerns I'd like to offer the fact that I did not take out the $3 per player fee for any of the 133 players from any division. So you can consider that to be another $402 added cash overall and another $93 added cash to the MPO purse. That was part of the reason that I decided to payout the MPOs using the 50% table instead of the 45% table.

If I were to have paid out the MPO division the White Mike recommended 45%, they would have been the following:

1. 460
2. ... more

TD report is complete. Hopefully the PDGA will include the results for the next ratings update.

Matt Zajechowski    May 2, 2011 at 9:07pm

also instead of discs next year, can we all get tinfoil hats?

Daemon Stahlin    May 2, 2011 at 9:05pm

can someone delete this gibberish?

Scott White    May 2, 2011 at 8:51pm

All of the AMs got a players pack disc. That was my one and only responsibility on Saturday.. :)

Matt Zajechowski    May 2, 2011 at 8:07pm

loco has a history of over 50% payout nearly every single year. To anyone ****ing about this, it is been obvious at their payout agenda for years, especially if you have played it as many as years as some of the people upset. This is poor tourney planning if you are surprised at this and really the only fault is yours.

g lane    May 2, 2011 at 7:50pm

last cash was forty five dollars. payouts were to 52% of the field. lunch was optional.

Mike "Papa Par" Even    May 2, 2011 at 7:37pm

I didn't play in the Tourney, but I played both courses Sunday. Both courses looked GREAT. Joe is right, the amount of work that went into cleaning up the course and making in playable while holes were flooded out was insane. I didn't even play in the tourney and I really appreciate the work you guys did! You even had sponsor tags at each hole, which I thought was very cool too. You can't please everyone, so don't even bother trying, just keep up the great work

Daemon Stahlin    May 2, 2011 at 7:36pm

where is this right vs wrong thing coming from? you "should have" done it this way makes me laugh. anyone who wants to make their own rules "should" organize and run their own Btier. then you will be able to do it "the right way", the way it "should" be done. 101 does it differently- get used to it. 51% payout ain't bad given all the added cash. $45 entry and ricky gets ~10x his money back. the cleveland symphony orchestra's violin section is cur ... more

Matt Zajechowski    May 2, 2011 at 7:32pm

hey fortcho, next year please serve wine and cheese for lunch, extra whine for me

Joe Gabris    May 2, 2011 at 7:20pm

Thanks 101 for a great day! I had as much fun as I could of had while playing like ****. The work you guys did building bridges over the water on the Chuck D. was so much appreciated and I know it wasn't easy getting those materials out there and placed so thank you much. The only thing that I would really like to see changed is the payouts. Over 50% in my opinion is WAY too many spots to be paid. The bottom 1/3 of those pro's on the cash list will feel like they got charity for not pl ... more

Thanks Brandon

Scott White    May 2, 2011 at 5:07pm

That (two years ago) was my mistake to let that go and I learned from that and vowed to never let it happen again.
