Not allowed to attach anything to a disc in sanctioned events.

If your going to play winter leagues it's like glow golf get some snow league discs and put ribbons on them playing winter golf is more for going through the motions staying fit being smooth, it's easy to hurt yourself doing warm weather run ups.
You play winter golf you throw better in the summer you'll hear it from more people then ones who better in the summer you'll hear it from more people then ones who ... more

Does anybody do the ribbon trick to help find discs in the snow? And is it allowed at sanctioned tournaments?

Ribbons are not allowed during a PDGA sanctioned event.
