As we receive constant updates from the CDC, AL Dept. of Public Health, and local officials, it is necessary to revise planned events accordingly. We have waited to announce changes to the Tour de Rocket City until a contingency plan was finalized and confirmed with the AL State coordinator. The PDGA has deferred judgement to each individual event TD outside of the NT/DGPT circuit in terms of hosting events, and advising us to adjust plans according to policies made by government agencies.

With that said, we will be postponing/combining the event at Mastin Lake currently scheduled for Saturday, April 4th for later in the year. Below is the new schedule for all 2020 Tour de Rocket City events as of today. These events have been approved by Ben Swam, our AL state coordinator. Unless this fluid situation changes yet again, this will be our plan moving forward.

As you may have noticed, there will now be 4 events instead of the originally planned 5. For those of you who have registered for the Amateur Tour Series package, I will be issuing a partial refund later this week to reflect the reduced schedule. You will still receive the same merchandise package at the conclusion of the series, with the only change being one less PDGA event.

For those of you who are currently registered for either the Series Package or just Stage 1, I will keep you registered for Stage 1 (now at Indian Creek on 06/13) unless you request a refund through DiscGolfScene. Please keep in mind the schedule described above.

We really appreciate your support of the Tour de Rocket City, and look forward to bringing a quality tournament experience to everyone in N. Alabama throughout the year.
