About this tournament

Innovation Valley Disc Golf Association's 2017 Ace Race at Carl Yearwood Park

Sunday, October 1st, 2017
2 rounds of 22+ safari-style holes
One throw per player per hole
Must use the provided Discraft prototype Ace Race disc
The most aces wins, ties go to metal hits

This is a super fun and laid-back event for new players and veterans alike! The two-round, safari-style layout will be throws from 50-200 feet for the purpose of running the chains and recording an ace. Players get one throw from each of the temp tee pads and must use the prototype disc from the players pack only. We plan to have a hanging or swinging basket, a three-or-more basket pyramid, double stacked and side-by-side baskets, deep putts, and much more with the intention of giving everyone a shot at a ringer. We will need a bunch of extra baskets, so plan on bringing your non-fabric basket to the event.

Your $30 entry fee will get you the players pack ($68 value) and a shot to be crowned 2017 Ace Race Champion. 2016 Ace Race winners received 8 premium discs, Buzzz trophy disc, and a bag from Discraft and we assume this years will be the similar.

Now accepting giveaways and runners-up prizes. Please PM or comment with what you can donate (discs, towels, minis, gift cards, etc.)

Players pack is massive and well worth the price of entry:
Two premium plastic ESP blend prototype discs
One Discraft t-shirt (usually dry-fit)
One mini Buzzz
One snap cap micro mini
One reusable scorecard
vinyl sticker

This year's disc is a control distance driver made for beginners and slower speed shots.

Refund policy

Refunds will be accepted until September 14th. If you decide not to play after September 14th, you will still receive the players pack.
