Adrenaline Heaven Sports is pleased to announce Houndslake Country Club presents Gentleman Joe Lee’s Laurel Open fueled by Adrenaline Heaven Sports. This tournament is part of the PDGA Competition Endowment Program as it will be a charity tournament to raise money for the Joe Lee Scholarship Foundation. You can find more information here (

All net proceeds will be donated to the Joe Lee Scholarship Foundation. For those that are unaware, Gentleman Joe Lee was the designer of the 27-hole golf course on Houndslake Country Club. The Laurel 9 design was completed in 1978. There have been many tournaments of all different levels played at Houndslake CC using the Laurel 9. “The Dogwood and Laurel nines have played host to the 1977 and 1981 South Carolina Golf Association Amateur Championship, the 1982 and 1984 South Carolina Golf Association Four Ball Championship, the 2001 and 2002 South Carolina PGA Pro Junior, several United States Amateur Qualifiers, The Women's Transnational Amateur, Joe Wyatt High School Junior Invitational, and is the home of the Women's Eastern Golf Association Senior Championship” (

This event will be a "True Amateur" Event: True Amateur is the designation used by the Professional Disc Golf Association in reference to those amateur events, or the amateur portion of an event, which promote that true spirit of amateur athletics by presenting only trophies to the top finishers of the tournament rather than a payout in merchandise. Instead, all players in the event receive equal value through their tournament experience due to the tournament amenities that are provided, which includes a larger than normal Player's Package.

$10 greens fee paid to Houndslake CC
$10 cart rental fee paid to Houndslake CC
