Wow, that was insane! We knew it would sell out pretty quickly, but it filled up in less than a minute plus another 70+ people on the waitlist! Sorry to anyone who did not get in or experienced any technical issues. We can't control the processing system. We decided to close online registration because the waitlist was already so massive (most of those people will not get in either), so there's no point in adding more. Hey Guys, really cool to see the tourney sell out that fast. Whole Lotta Bert love! Unfortunately, since I've moved out to the country I have slow spotty internet so the quick sellouts are not possible for me to get into. I would still love to come down and help out spotting or whatever. Let me know if you need any help.

Hey Chris, I'm sorry you were not able to get in. We would be happy to have you there and could easily find something for you to do. If someone is a no-show, we would be able to add you from the waitlist. This will be an annual tournament, and we hope to make it a 2-day event next year, so we can accommodate more players. Keeping Bert's legacy into the future of Disc Golf!

I'm #2 on the waitlist. Currently registered for MA1. If a spot opens for another division that I'm eligible for, will I have the option to take that spot?

Sorry, wrong response to your inquiry. If a spot opens up, you should get an email from DGS with a limited timeframe to sign up. YOu should be able to select an alternate division at that point. If not, let us know and we can manually switch divisions as long as you are eligible. THanks!

Signed up right at 7...was charged full price for Intermediate but was put on waitlist....other waitlist registrations are showing a reduced price???

Shane, I think some people got charged full price instead of the $5 waitlist fee because the system was processing so many registrations at once. If it doesn't refund automatically, we will refund your fees manually and you would then pay again if you got in from the waitlist. There is a ton we ... more

Registered immediately at 7 and ended up on a waitlist. Any plans to increase the size of the field or will refunds be issued to wait listers? How does that work?

Yeah, sorry Mark. It is a temporary course as of now. We will be setting it up on March 13th and the day before the tournament, on April 2nd.

Sorry I am pointing it out… no such thing as a “first annual”, it would be called a “inaugural” tournament. Can’t be 1st annual since it has never happened:) can’t wait to sign up and play.

18th is early registration for eligible hole sponsors (sold out) and then 19th will be open registration for everyone else.

Hi Gavin, you were promoted from the waitlist and officially invited to register within 48-hours. We provided 2 emails with direct link to sign-up and pay the associated registration fee, however, we did not receive your registration payment within the 48-hours, and have a lot of players waiting to get in. With the tournament date so close, we had to honor the 48-hour time limit and offer the spot to the next waitlisted player. You aren't simply added to the tournament from the waitlist - you must pay the registration fee or forfeit your spot after 48-hours. Note to all waitlisted players: Since the tournament is less than 1-week away, any subsequent adds from the waitlist will be given 24-hours to register after they are promoted. So, if you are at the top of the list, it is your responsibility to watch your emails. Thank you for your understanding.
