About this tournament
Hail to the King consists of one round of 28 holes that will be played on a modified version of the original layout featuring holes 1-10 + 4 temporary holes. This means that everyone will get two chances at each CTP prize!
About: Hail to the King at Persimmon Hollar Powered by MVP Disc Sport was designed with two goals in mind: to provide excellent tournament play at an amazing venue, and to give players the opportunity to accumulate an overwhelming amount of plastic and other merchandise.
Course: For the venue, Bradley Dixon's Persimmon Hollar is a truly one-of-a-kind course that challenges players of all skill levels while also allowing newer players that chance to post great scores. Players will not be disappointed with the course and will likely find themselves making a regular drive to Mebane to experience the Hollar.
Player Pack: Shirt Sizes Only Guaranteed If Registered By July 7th
While just getting a chance to play Persimmon Hollar is worth the price of entry, the player pack and prizes available make missing out on Hail to the King a horrible mistake. For the price of entry, every amateur player will receive an MVP Disc Sports T Shirt, a premium plastic disc, a fusion glow stick, a gyro wristband, and a pencil. But wait, the player pack does not end there. Disc golf legend Elaine King will be giving a clinic to all players at the conclusion of the event. Including the clinic, the player pack has a retail value over $50.
Lunch:
John Bell will be catering the event. He will be providing barbecue, sides, and a drink for $10. Bring cash and an appetite!
Prizes:
There will be 40 amateur CTP's up for grabs (10 Per Division). CTP Prizes include: fusion glow sticks, wristbands, osmosis sport balls, discs, and bags. The top 40% off each division will also receive payout.
Raffle:
Raffle Prizes include: MVP Disc Sports bags, stools, fidget spinners, disc claws, UV flashlights, Autographed Discs, a MVP Black Hole Pro Disc Golf Basket + more to come
