Gravitational Pull at The Cove - Presented by Gravity Disc Golf & Walker Rocks

Join us for 3rd Annual Gravitational Pull at the Cove! Gravity Disc Golf and Walker Rocks are hosting a B-Tier at Mountain Cove Farms! The course will be in top shape after working with the amazing folks at Mountain Cove and a couple of workdays to get this ready to play. We will use an 18 Hole Temp Course with the existing main layout to have a Two-Round, Two Course Event with Tee Times for both Rounds.

Mountain Cove is a gem and a staple in this area and Gravity is excited to bring the course and event back to life again! This is an well-designed course and we want to bring an event that will match this.

LAYOUT AND TEEPADS:
There will be multiple sets of short tee pads on certain holes on both courses used to cater to all the divisions. Please see the Caddy Book below.
Pool A will start on Temp Course and Pool B will start on Main Course*

Divisions playing A Tee Pads: MPO, MA1, MP40
Divisions playing B Tee Pads: FPO, MP50, MA2, MA40
Divisions playing C Tee Pads: FA1, FA40, MA50, MA60, MA3, MJ18

Main Course - This is a championship level course with a mix of open, wooded, up-hill, down-hill, short, long, placement.
Course Length:
A Pool - 8285 ft.
B Tees - 7890 ft.
C Tees - 7110 ft.

Temp Course - This is a temporary set-up with Portable Baskets and has been designed by one of our defending champs at Mountain Cove, Joey Lutz!*

A Pool - 7980 ft.
B Tees - 7380 ft.
C Tees - 6300 ft.

DIVISION MINIMUMS:
All divisions must have at least four players to make a division. (women and junior divisions excluded)

Please carpool if at all possible since parking is limited and campsites/cabins will be in use. Please only park in designated areas and ask if unsure.

PRACTICE DAY INFO:
We will have Friday (& hopefully more days the week of the event) designated as a practice day. Gravity Disc Golf will be set up all day for Check-in Friday. $5 Practice Round paid to Mountain Cove in the General Store before practicing.


CADDIES AND SPECTATORS:
Both are welcome, caddies must follow the same PDGA rules as players.


FOOD AND DRINKS:
There will be food, drinks, and beverages available this year! Huge thanks to Cherry Street Brewing for setting up for beverages.
We plan on having a food truck again as well as biscuits, hot dogs and hamburgers sold each day on site.
There are not many options close by outside of the vendor so please prepare to eat before or after your tee time or bring food if you are camping/cabining.

Please clean up after yourselves if you bring food/drinks camping.
Mountain Cove Farms will have their shop open for snacks & drinks.


SPONSORSHIP:
Hole Sponsorship is $50. If you'd like to sponsor the event, Gravity offers larger Sponsorship packages. All proceeds go toward tournament expenses and payout. Running a large B-Tier has additional costs and we appreciate all the support we receive. Email [email redacted] for more info!


CAPS ON POOLS AND DIVISIONS:
Since there are two courses and multiple tee pads, I will have initial caps on divisions to keep the cards/tees/divisions as balanced as possible.
