Disc Golf 2023 European Open presented by Discmania

READ FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE REGISTERING TO THE EVENT.

The qualifying to the 2023 European Open will change from the rating based to the qualifying tournament based. Players have a chance to win an invitation to the European Open in qualifying tournaments played both in the USA and in Europe.

Qualification to the European Open has been divided into five categories.

Top 5 MPO and the winner of the FPO division in qualifying tournaments will receive an invitation. If any of these players are already qualified, the spot will transfer to the next one in results. This invitation requires players to register for the 2023 European Open in a certain time limit. After that deadline, the player has lost the possibility to play in the 2023 EO. A player may only qualify once at the European Open qualifying events listed below. Earned spots are not transferable.

Also players with certain criteria are qualified to the 2023 European Open automatically. These players are past winners of the European Open tournaments, top 10 MPO players and top 5 FPO players of the 2022 European Open and Top 20 MPO and top 10 FPO players in the 2022 UDisc World year-end Ranking.

Special invitations will be awarded to some international players from Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Taiwan.

All qualified players will be contacted and they will receive instructions on how to register for the 2023 European Open. Registration happens at DiscGolfScene.com. There is also a deadline for the registration.

The European Open is a PDGA Major, therefore all competitors must have a current PDGA membership and must have passed the PDGA Official certification exam in order to compete.
