Possible to get registered today? I want to come up from Indiana but not willing to risk the hotel cost.

Tyler Jackson   July 2, 2022 at 10:46pm

Awesome, thank you!

Shrimp Boat Captain    July 2, 2022 at 9:15pm

FA3 will be playing for two berths - MA2 will be playing for five berths and MA4 will have three berths. SUBJECT TO CHANGE depending on tomorrows walk up registration

Bohdan Pelekh   July 3, 2022 at 10:06am

How do you guys divide them up? I know any division with 4 people gets a berth. But it seems like you're adding a second for Fa3 with 5 people.

Bohdan Pelekh   July 3, 2022 at 10:07am

Fa3 - 2.5 players per berth
Ma4 - 3.25 players per berth
Ma2 - 5.6 players per berth

Krissy Martin    July 2, 2022 at 3:13pm

What is the breakdown of berths for day two ?

Keith, I won't argue what that 200% meant. More importantly wanted to make sure that it was planned for to not create any issues after the fact. Best of luck to staff & players this weekend.

Craig Prime   July 1, 2022 at 6:40pm

Brent - you are right, I am wrong and that's why you're making the big bucks

Jim Fries   July 1, 2022 at 8:45pm

Jim Fries    June 30, 2022 at 10:47pm

if you're including ALL Open Players (one MPO40 player & one MPO player) you will need to pay for two people's entry

Jim Fries   July 1, 2022 at 10:08am

Like i said Craig, any MPO player. That means a competitor playing in my division.

Jim Fries   July 1, 2022 at 10:37am

Craig are you working 3rd shift now? Up a little late arent ya?

Krissy Martin    June 30, 2022 at 2:01pm

I will be playing either way.

Krissy Martin    June 30, 2022 at 12:42pm

So we will not know if a female berth is avaliable until after registration closes, and no refund is avaliable. At this point we dont have 3 in a specific division. We are spread in Fa40, Fa3, and open. It gets discouraging to know you dont even get a oppertunity for a chance to compete for a berth at an event that has so many avaliable, and so few registered.

Krissy - TD Eric is 99% certain that you will be playing for a berth. I'd suggest that you just plan on playing and if there isn't a berth and you wanted to withdraw because of no berth, a refund would be available

Alex Baker    June 28, 2022 at 5:24pm

Will you be posting the final berth distributions before the event start?

Craig Prime   June 28, 2022 at 6:07pm

Eric may be able to get that info secured after Reg ends on Thursday night. Looking at the numbers as they are now, each day looks pretty equal for the distribution numbers (not official or final)

Corey Pierson    June 27, 2022 at 4:43pm

I'm confused about the players pack. Are there two different ones? It's says all am players will get the players pack mentioned, but also says only the first 65.

Craig Prime   June 27, 2022 at 6:11pm

TD Eric said there will be enough player packs for all Ams

Matt Clark    June 27, 2022 at 3:07am

Is open really $12 to enter? Big money!

James Crawford    June 23, 2022 at 2:46am

What’s up with the MPO entry and all that stuff guys?!? Come on now…

Jim Fries   June 23, 2022 at 10:43pm

James, its their new normal!

Joe Date   July 1, 2022 at 3:04am

It's not the new norm. It's just petty ****, but hey I'll take 2 rated round at 6 bucks a pop.

Krissy Martin    June 14, 2022 at 5:13pm

Seeking clarification, how would the female berth work if we are not in same divisions or reach 3 total ? Example FA3, & FA40

Craig Prime   June 14, 2022 at 9:46pm

Krissy, the normal rule is that there must be 3 players to make for a division qualifying for a Berth. Getting a full division isn't always possible and because of that we try our best to fairly reward the female players. To actually pin it down exact we'll just need to see what divisions ... more

Corey Pierson    June 14, 2022 at 12:08pm

Will there be a players pack for this event?

Craig Prime   June 14, 2022 at 12:48pm

The first 65 players to register for this event will get a towel, dry bag and Discraft large mini disc as the player pack.

Jim Fries    June 8, 2022 at 9:34am

Lets go Brandon

12$ entry fee for open? Is this a real thing?

Craig Prime   June 7, 2022 at 11:16am

yes

Brent Faubert    June 5, 2022 at 11:51pm

Players should know refund policy https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/103

No TD can change this.

How many berths are available per division?

Craig Prime   May 31, 2022 at 5:13pm

Berths will be awarded as fair as possible. 18 berths for the two days and divisions with higher numbers of players will get more berths. Bottom line is numbers can't be finalized until knowing how many in each division..

Shrimp Boat Captain    May 20, 2022 at 4:32am

Lol safe to assume there's no added cash?

Craig Prime   May 20, 2022 at 12:53pm

yes, safe assumption

Craig Prime   May 31, 2022 at 2:44pm

the Midland Open is an MDGO Feature event primarily for distribution of Berths and since Pro players don't need a Berth, low entry fee

Mark Stephens   June 29, 2022 at 12:03pm

There is actually added cash though. It is $500 or 200% of the pro purse. So, currently, there is a mandatory $264 added cash.
