How do you guys divide them up? I know any division with 4 people gets a berth. But it seems like you're adding a second for Fa3 with 5 people.

Fa3 - 2.5 players per berth
Ma4 - 3.25 players per berth
Ma2 - 5.6 players per berth

FA3 will be playing for two berths - MA2 will be playing for five berths and MA4 will have three berths. SUBJECT TO CHANGE depending on tomorrows walk up registration

Craig… The money was offered before registration opened and the TD declined to take it in. He didn’t want to change the price of open prior to the event registration open but yet could change the tier afterwards. It was his choice to decline the money

Also, in your own words, you specifically said, well we get more AMS the pros and we only got 8 last year. Then in the next sentence said Pros should support AMs, well I'm sorry, there is a reason Paul McB makes the big bucks and it's not because he is an AM no one aspires to be a lifetime AM without once thinking about pro. Some may never get to pro, but they think about it.

Krissy - TD Eric is 99% certain that you will be playing for a berth. I'd suggest that you just plan on playing and if there isn't a berth and you wanted to withdraw because of no berth, a refund would be available

Lets just hope for 3 players in each of the female divisions, then there would definitely be at least one berth per division. Berths will be awarded as fair as possible. 18 berths for the two days and divisions with higher numbers of players will get more berths. Bottom line is numbers can't be finalized until knowing how many in each division..

the Midland Open is an MDGO Feature event primarily for distribution of Berths and since Pro players don't need a Berth, low entry fee

There is actually added cash though. It is $500 or 200% of the pro purse. So, currently, there is a mandatory $264 added cash.
