We are not using any vacant FPO spots for MPO due to the broadcast schedule times.

With 12 minutes between tee times and the final FPO card going out at 9:55am and first MPO card going out at 10:30am there is no way to fit another card at 10:18am?

Trey Childress   August 10 at 6:01pm

^ makes sense. You guys got the course looking great in a very short amount of time. Very impressive.

Tate Hatfield   August 11 at 2:53am

Any chance another card gets made from the remaining small waitlist? The idea of a 10:18 card makes sense.

If the open FPO spots are filled in with MPO players will registration be re opened to fill in the final couple spots?

Any chance the open FPO spots will be filled with MPO players from the wait-list?

We have used our two MPO Event Exemptions and our FPO. DGPT Exemptions have requests in and DGPT will be adding those in soon. We chose to promote Brad Schick and Zach Arlinghaus to represent our area in the event, Good luck guys. FPO spot we granted to the next player on the wait list.

Any more information on when the pro clinic tickets will go on sale?

Nicholas Martin   July 11 at 2:27am

As well as the GK pro tour skins tickets as well? Thank you

Adam M. Jones   July 11 at 3:03pm

On Wednesday the Flymart, Meet & Greet and Pro Clinic is currently planned to be at the Florence Y'alls stadium. This will be Free to attend. Unsure about the UPlay kids event at his time. The GK Pro Skins will have a fee for tickets and the DGPT is working on those details now and we expect to have tickets sales ready by next week.

When will the qualifier open. If it is already open, can you please provide a link?

We will be creating that fairly soon. I'll post the link here and on the front page info section once ready.

do you have to be on the waitlist to play the qualifier?

Adam M. Jones    April 3, 2023 at 5:44pm

Quick update about the Regional Qualifiers:
Also posted in the About this tournament section.

Regional Qualifying: River City Open and the Brent Hambrick Memorial Open have been chosen for this year. Playing in DGPT events is becoming increasingly more difficult with tiered based registration, and so the DGPT has instituted regional qualifiers to give the ability for local players to qualify for DGPT events. Each regional event is offering 2 MPO and 1 FPO spot. The top finishers who are not ... more

Is there a waitlist or chances that any more VIP passes will be added ?

Adam M. Jones   March 26, 2023 at 2:34pm

Hi Kim, DGPT mamanges the VIP and General admission ticket sales and they do not offer a wait list for event admission ticketing. In the past few years we really haven't had many at all request a refund for VIP tickets. Some that decide they can't attend have asked to have them transferred ... more

Hey guys, obviously really pumped to play Idlewild, but I can't believe there's only 100 MPO spots on offer (with 40 people on waitlist already). Is there normally only 100, and nothing closer to 150 like other tourneys?

Does it come down to the course itself.and how long it takes to play? Is there just not enough daylight hours to hold more players?

Thanks guys! All the best

Adam M. Jones   March 15, 2023 at 4:52pm

Hi Luke, yes to all of that. We use one course that requires 12 minute tee times due to several factors. We use as much daylight as possible which leaves us with a max capacity of 152 total players.

Nina Guerrero    March 13, 2023 at 1:47pm

Will there be a Monday qualifier or more spots opening for FPO. The sport is growing hoping more spots can open up for everyone.

Adam M. Jones   March 13, 2023 at 4:08pm

We don't have any more spots to give. We suggest getting on the wait list now, last few years on the FPO side we did end up promoting almost all the PFO wait listed players as others drop out.
