Big thank you to John and Scott for hosting and supporting the woman's tournament at Addy. You treat the ladies first class. The course is awesome. Thank you Abby and Lydia for kick ass trophies. It is front and center above the rest. My favorite. A great day and lots of wonderful ladies to meet. Thanks again for supporting woman in disc golf!

Hi Nancy, we are not providing lunch. I would recommend bringing food. I am not positive, but I believe there is a subway in the gas station about a mile or two down the road.

john you gonna be there!?? I'm thinking about doing the motor city one in august at Addison also :) might be getting use to these tourney kind of play lol expanding horizones. can't wait to play. maybe we should start winter snow tourneys ;)))

Fred brings up an interesting point about travelers for both events this weekend so I will post this on both pages:
Similar to the Metroparks vehicle annual pass, the Oakland County Parks offer their own pass as well. The Metroparks pass does not apply to Oakland County Parks. Those who do not live in the Oakland County, the fees are a little higher. Here is the info from their website on vehicle entry fees:

I''m coming to the area on Saturday to get some first-time play before the GVM on Sunday. Please advise how this can occur without being a nuisance at the women's tournament.

I always felt bad for the last kid in a pick-up baseball game. I don't want to be that kid, when it comes to the price I'd get at auction. IAE-Timing could be an issue, as Grand Rapids is far and Sat start is early.

Update: The tourney will be moved to Addison Oaks. There is a 10$ charge for entering the park without a pass. Out of town ladies: we can coordinate a meet up spot to car pool to decrease individual cost. Stony Creek would have been 7$, so not too much of a difference. Plus Addison offers camping and MCCG is hosting the GVM tournament the next day also at Addison. We will be playing two rounds of 18 holes. Also we are trying to coordinate a caddy auction with proceeds to benefit Breast Cancer research. Also following the tourney we are coordinating a unsanctioned random draw doubles event.

Yes you can bring a caddy, donations are optional. Addison is a long round, so to keep things moving at a good pace, we decided to only play 18, that way we could be done at a reasonable time.

Oh, I haven't confirmed it with John, but I am assuming we will run this like any other MCCG event: pro's and AM1 longs, AM3/4 shorts, not sure about AM2 yet. Sometimes AM2 does a mixture of long/short. I will talk with John today and solidify the tee pad situations.

FYI Ladies, I am about to post the current points standings. You must play 4 events in the same division to qualify for overall points series. So double check how many events you have under your belt before you switch divisions.
possibly par 55. hole 24 is the only true par 4 out there.
I was wondering how they did par when seeing that?
