I was trying to check my registration and I see my brother messed up and put in his info he's been laid up with an accident and said he couldnt change it and I need to try. I know it's late Zach meeker but if u have time I'd like to have his spot switched over to mine peter Leslie #160433 ma3 is my normal but would step up if need to be in same division he entered

Thank you for participating in the 4th Annual CAS Discers for Whiskers! All proceeds go to help the critters at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter. Please support our sponsors. See attached sponsor list.

We will be accepting donations for the animals at the shelter as well. We desperately need Kitten Replacement Milk (KMR) and Dry Kitten food, canned cat pate and kitty litter. With Kitten Season in full swing we are just about out of those things. I have also attached a list of other items needed and as always, monetary donations are appreciated as well. We will also have a 50/50 raffle.

No player meeting. All info is in this email. Please read carefully and make sure to check in by 9AM!

Course: Attached are the course notes with OB and map. U-Disc has accurate maps as well.

Note that no holes will be moved for the 2nd round.

Note that the following divisions will play from the designated alternate tees on holes 2, 5, 6, 11, 16 and 17. This is to help with pace of play:

MA3 - Recreational Men
FA3 - Recreational Women
FA2 - Intermediate Women
All Junior Divisions

The course will be setup with OBs & alt tees marked by the afternoon of Thursday, July 8th

Island Hole 17 – Outside edge of rocks form the island perimeter; touching rocks is in bounds.

When you are near the OB creek your disc must be completely surrounded by water to be considered OB.

Caddies and Spectators will be allowed, we ask they maintain social distancing as appropriate.

Check In from 8AM - 9AM and Shotgun Start at 9:30AM:
Please check in at tournament central by 9AM. This will allow us to make any necessary and start promptly at 9:30AM. Tournament central will be located at the pavilion on the west side of Romero Park near hole 2A. After checking in you may proceed to your assigned starting hole. We will call two minutes at 9:28AM and sound the starting air horn at 9:30AM.

Round 2 will start approximately 1 hour after the last card is turned in from round 1.

Scorecards: We will be using the PDGA digital scoring system through PDGA.com/Scores . The password will be shared with you at check-in. The free Udisc App will be the backup scorecard. The group can decide who keeps the PDGA and who keeps the Udisc. The Digital Scorecard is the OFFICIAL score card of the event. After you complete scoring make sure everyone’s score is confirmed prior to anyone leaving for the day. It is a best practice to compare PDGA with Udisc, if things match then submit, if they do not then go hole by hole until they are correct.

General Course Notes: Remember, when in doubt TAKE A PROVISIONAL.

2-meter rule: There will be no 2-meter rule.

Drinking Water: Located near hole 2A/2D near pavilion, hole 8 tee, and hole 17 tee.

Restrooms: Located near hole 1, 16 and 2A/2D

Spotting: We will have limited spotters at certain areas of the course, please remember these are volunteers who are donating their time to help and be kind. Spotters will give their best approximation of where you have landed or last crossed the playing area. It is ultimately up to your group to make the appropriate decision.

We may also have areas without spotters. Spot for your group, support one another for the spirit of the game. If you are going to take a risky outside the box shot, ask a card mate to spot for you.

Lunch: Lunch is included in your entry and will be served between rounds at the pavilion where you checked in. Memphis BBQ sandwiches and a veggie option w/ limited supply will be provided.

Awards: After the completion of the second round, you may be in contention for a prize and those will be handed out as soon as scores are finalized and confirmed. Professional Players will receive payouts via paypal by Monday evening.
