Cali Dreamin' 2010 will be a 27 hole "California" style format tournament.
California means each player may have 1 re-throw per hole, whether it's the drive, approach or putt.
We will play a round of 18 on the famed "Picnic" course with the cold winter winds a-blowin'. During lunch we will feature our annual Chili Cook-Off which anyone may enter, but only one will win. After lunch we will play a 9 hole loop on the "Chuck D." course consisting of holes 1-3 and 13-18.
Chili Cookoff Registered Peoples:
G "Hormel Hound Dog" Lane
David "Satan Strain" Stain
Player's packs go to the first 50 Ams to register.
Tournament Central will be located in the park's main building, adjacent to the Picnic Course's Hole #1 tee.
Pre register by posting PDGA # or email address here: http://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/Cali_Dreamin_2010/talk less

Yes. Ribbons are acceptable. Whatever helps you find your disc quicker.
Ray-hole Karle January 5, 2010 at 8:39pm
What about ribbons can we use ribbons on some of our discs incase the snow buries the disc?
Garrett Graham 4G's January 5, 2010 at 3:28pm
sand will help the ice if thats what your asking scott

Should be nasty tee pad conditions, they're talking about more snow on Thursday. Maybe it will be cold enough towel use will be limited, which should help with timing. I'd recommend marking nice wide winter-rules tee pads - or at least allow teeing to the side of the blocks by a few feet so hopefully no one wipes out on the icy ones. Someone needs to remind players to try to walk in a single file so later groups have a chance to find plastic more easily. No searches for white discs allowed...

yeah, that is what i would have mentioned. Some cleats to add to your boots,
Scott White January 5, 2010 at 2:04pm
Anyone have ideas for making the natural tee pads better in the snow/ice conditions? I will be bringing cleats..

A junior division is a possibility, but it is unlikely we will have any other junior division golfers
Michael Hutchins January 1, 2010 at 9:52pm
I might be able to make it. Is there a possibility of a Jrs division?
