I don't know if I can make it this year. Hands down, this is the best disc golf tournament in S.E. Michigan. Last year was a blast!

Billy, best way (and also save $5) is to buy a "weekend warrior" pass here:

You can also pay in person at Up In The Air Disc Golf 4579 W Walton Blvd, Waterford, MI 48329.

John, I said "old" as a rhetorical devise. Noone is old who plays disc golf. In my league ending hi /low doubles play my partner was 17. We had the widest age spread.

@ Fred, can I consider myself a disc golfer who is old as well?

Open bomber course? There are a few open holes, a few wooded holes, some water (with safe bailout options). A little bit of everything. Should be a great temp course and eventually an amazing permanent course with tons of character.

I added a few updates to the description regarding the entry fee breakdown for ams and pros. Figured you all would want to know how we are raising money for the course and also what you are getting for your entry fee. Thanks and let's get some more people signed up today!

Former ball golf course. Does this mean open bomber course?

..(updated after original post)
Open (Pro) divisions - Men and Women are getting payouts in cash. There will be an optional (excellent) players pack for the open division player for an additional price.

The course will not be playable with baskets until the tournament time.

Plastic plus funny money. We don't have it all mowed yet, but I believe there are flags down to mark holes now. If you want a tour of the course before hand, email me. [email redacted]. You can also stay tuned to the facebook page for course cleanup days!

Are open men getting paid out in plastic or cash? Is there any way to play the layout before the tourny?

Big news everybody. We just launched our campaign on indiegogo.com We've got some deals on there for discgolfers and festival attendees. The first 10 disc golfers to register for the tourney on there will get five bucks off!

Excellent! "Former" will be my take on the "old ball course. I'm an old discgolfer, not a former one ;)

I was hoping to see the 2nd Annual at Belle Isle. Thanks for the effort to keep hope alive. (And Its nice to see my "70's" Star and Maple Leaf Frisbee featured here.) As to the tourney course plan- While we should tolerate some ambiguity, given the simple gift of playing anywhere on Belle Isle, I have gathered from some of the prior comments that the "permanent" course is envisioned on the current ball golf course. And so, the tournament's placement on the same grou ... more

We've been invited back to present our case to Detroit Soup. Everybody that can be there needs to be there. 5 bucks a head. We share our idea along with 3 other people, everybody in the audience votes on their favorite plan, and the winner gets the door money. It's usually close to $1000, so this would really help us with players packs, music, etc for the tourney.
