We are so grateful to Mecklenburg Parks and Rec, The Charlotte Disc Golf Club and Dynamic Discs for working so hard with us to make sure we were still able to pull off an A-Tier for Charlotte! Registration for the Clash will open on 8/23 at 7PM.
Format:
Professional divisions will play October 2-4, one round per day with tee-times at Hornet’s Nest Gold.
Amateur Divisions will play October 3-4, two rounds of shotgun start on Saturday, one round of tee-times on Sunday. Ams will use a variety of courses, the tentative layouts are posted below.
All player meeting and award ceremonies will be conducted digitally. Player pack and payout will be handled in store at Another Round.
edit I realize now that the tournament is over that I did not word this clearly. I am very sorry for the confusion that this caused. I should have specified that we were doing trophy only for the AM players in an effort to limit the contact and gathering as it relates to covid. I was trying to say that pro payout would be handled when I returned to the store after the event. I apologize that this has upset players who were expecting a merchandise payout. I was not intending to mislead in any way.
To ensure the safety of all players and tournament staff, there will be no spectators or caddies allowed at the course at any point during the Carolina Clash.
