another awesome job snap, sorry i couldnt play in the tourny<tried tobe there as much as i could> but it was great to see so many faces from afar roll into town for this event, hope you all review the course now that so many improvements were done. its like half a brandnew course at taloali. id like to give big-ups to wilcox whom as one of the big winners this weekend, chris donated all his winnings to the kids. nicly done chris! most of you may have seen me hangin around like a bar fly, o ... more

Thanks for a great weekend Snap:) This event is always a challenge for me. I play my best under pressure and with all eyes on me for the Ace challenge for the mini basket it didn't matter I finished last place in my division:) good job Snap.

I will be running a bagtag dump at the taloali event this weekend. So for those with ccdg bagtags bring them and trade them. Also, a side ace pot just for us taggers. Pot is already up to $36. Lets see if we can get it to $50 and pay somebody. Think Positive, Shoot Negative-scottishrob

Really busting my ass now, my right hand man is gone for a personal family emergency and now doing this all by myself so help me if you can on friday and saturday etc.... bring good quality baskets if you have them. Rubber teepads and good carpet are nice if you have them. More than needed is better than not enough...
let's not forget the TWO baskets we have up for grabs this year instead of the one traditional gold mini basket for CTP unlimited $1 throws for half an hour that is INFAMO ... more

All trophies will be mini sized so that everyone can use their trophy for a mini for the rest of their life... 1-3rd place...

And canned beer only please, no glass...

The camp board has informed me that there has been alot of glass beer bottles and drug paraphenila found at camp taloali. STOP bringing glass beer to the course and dropping your drugs all over the place. Only canned beer from now on please... spread the word nicely. thanks

APRIL 21-22 IS TALOALI WORK PARTY TO PREPARE FOR THE MAY TOURNAMENT. IF YOU DO WORK YOU CAN STAY IN THE CABINS FOR FREE. THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO HELP OUT WITH THE COURSE AND GOLF ALL DAY. THEN SLEEP IN THE HEATED CABINS ON SITE AND ENJOY THE HUGE BBQ ALREADY THERE AND HAVE A BONEFIRE TOO. MAYBE A GLOW ROUND ALSO? COME HELP THIS FOREVER IMPROVING COURSE, AND YOULL SEE DOING WORK ON A COURSE IS AS FUN AS PLAYING A COURSE.

A full metal mini basket from DGA will be up for grabs in the traditional "30 minute CTP" contest at the end of the tournament, unlimited throws $1 each for 30 minutes, winner at end of 30 minutes gets the basket. There will be 3 baskets out there for the CTP contest, each having it's own prize.

Also I am adding a DGA Machlite portable basket to either the AM payout prize or the CTP 30 minute contest. Sign up! Spread the word, let's fill this baby!

That's right! Fishing on the Santiam river is RIGHT THERE! That is the river behind the basket in the 1st Annual tournament in my profile picture. Basketball court, small brand new playground from last year tournament, full hot shower and bathroom, 10 cabins with 8 bunk beds each with "bring your own lock cubbies" with heat. BBQ, bonfire and much more...

NOT FROM SALEM AREA??? this is one of the best events thrown at our local courses. its an entire weekend of fun and its for the entire family, playground, cabins to rent,awesome course, glow rounds, great fishing. its a great weekend to come to the valley and bring the family, and its for a godd cause. please if youve never done this event or played taloali? take my word on it "THIS IS THE EVENT YOU SHOULD PLAN ON DOING"
