About this tournament
Welcome to the 3rd Annual Bert Cotton Memorial Tournament Presented by Helix Disc Golf and Supported by Innova Disc Golf. This is our third year for this PDGA C-tier tournament and a 2023 SoCal Disc Golf Series event, hosted at the beautiful Palm Royale Country Club on our temp 18-hole, par-55 layout.
This event will feature two rounds of disc golf, both played on Saturday, April 8 with a shotgun start format.
Amateurs will be competing for trophies only. Must be at least 3 players in a division to earn a trophy, with up to 3 trophies (1st, 2nd, 3rd) for larger divisions. Ams will get a great player pack with a premium Innova INNcolor printed disc, Helix NinjaPak disc golf backpack bag, and commemorative event pin.
Pros will be playing for cash payouts based on the amount of entries per each division plus some added cash from Helix and our tee sign sponsors.
Tee sign sponsorships will be available for $50 each. Sponsorship will allow you to register earlier than the first level of public registration. Registration schedule is as follows:
January 20 - Early Registration Opens for Tee Sponsors
February 8, 7:00pm - Registration Opens for Pro, Junior and Female Players
February 9, 7:00pm - Registration Opens for All Divisions
All MP Divisions and MA1 will play the blue tees.
All FP and other MA/FA divisions will play the red tees
If any divisions have less than 3 players, we may condense divisions and ask you to move prior to the event.

Refund policy
Helix Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. You must cancel by April 1 to receive a full refund. Any refunds after that subtract 10% of the registration fee, unless there is a replacement player on waitlist who claims your spot. Any day-of cancellations and no-shows will not be eligible for refund, but you will get your player pack if you signed up as an amateur. You'll have to pay for shipping or arrange for local pick-up.
