Kansas City Disc Golf's Board of Directors has decided to postpone the 38th Annual Kansas City Wide Open until a date later in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Refunds have been issued for anyone who had registered We appreciate your understanding in these trying times.

Kansas City Disc Golf is proud to present the 38th Annual Kansas City Wide Open! Played over 3 days, the KCWO will feature some of Kansas City's most challenging and iconic courses.

Courses will be announced in March/April as KCDG looks at the best options for our competitors. More information will follow concerning players pack items, players parties, and other amenities.

Amateur Payout Information

All Advanced and Age Protected Advanced Divisions: Paid out per the standard PDGA schedule.
All Intermediate Divisions: Paid out totally flat for the top half of the participants in a division. This means that last the top finisher and last cash will have the same payout for a division.
All Recreational and Novice Divisions: Trophy Only.

Note that there will be guaranteed trophy per amateur division, with 3 guaranteed trophies for the trophy only division. For each 15 participants in a division past the 1st 15 participants, an additional trophy will be awarded. Ex: If 46 competitors compete in Am1, 3 trophies will be awarded. If 20 competitors compete in Recreational, 4 trophies will be awarded.

Also, we have a TENTATIVE (note the word tentative) course assignment per divisions. We are talking with some of the local players to determine if any tweaks need to be made. Expect more communication about this via email in the coming months:

All Pro Divisions - Water Works, Wyandotte, Wyandotte
MA1, MA40, FA1 - Water Works, Wyandotte, Bad Rock
All Other Am Divisions - Water Works, Bad Rock, Heritage

Refund policy

Full Refunds (less paypal and dgscene fees) will be available until the close of registration on May 31st.
Refund Requests from May 31st to June 5th will receive their players pack. Arrangements can be made if players packs cannot be picked up locally and need to be shipped.
No Call/No Shows will not receive their players packs or any refund.
