Why was the course order changed?

Zac Teuscher   May 21, 2022 at 5:31am

I didn't want players to have to walk in for their final round.. and I want to have grill and vendor setup near where players are playing and not aways away

For those not familiar with Willamette Mission Park (Wheatland DGC), the "North Entrance" is at 45.089756, -123.043951, on the east side of the river. If you are coming from the Brooks I-5 exit (263) continue north on Wheatland Rd past the normal entrance, and take a left onto Matheny (about 3/4 mile).

There is limited parking in the gravel off the road at the east side ferry landing. You will still need a state parks pass to park here. The ferry is not guaranteed to be in operatio ... more

I'll be playing these courses blind. How cart friendly are they? MA50 Pool B

Steven Silvers   May 18, 2022 at 4:18pm

Camp T and wheatland are very cart friendly, Keizer it can be a little tough but doable.

Steven Silvers   May 18, 2022 at 4:20pm

Also looks like MA50 got shifted to A pool just so you know, I don’t think there was an announcement or anything.

Zac Teuscher   May 18, 2022 at 9:06pm

all the courses are very cart friendly. I use my rovic regularly at all three

mitchell bivens    May 18, 2022 at 12:33pm

Dang so how long is the walk into wheatland and the park knows we are doing this right? I don’t understand why we don’t just play the courses that are in good condition…..

Lol

Malum Nothis   May 18, 2022 at 4:00pm

Just a heads up... You can park either side of the river and pedestrians ride free. However, make sure the ferry is running. It closes due to high water often. Don't get stuck on the far side day of... The walk is close to a mile to tee six, paved with clear signager.

Zac Teuscher   May 18, 2022 at 9:09pm

it's the Parks suggestion if we want to use rhe course.. and the course is looking great. it is the road to get to hole 1 where it dips down that is the issue. river should be getting low enough today to see how much clean up is needed

Nick Breninger    May 17, 2022 at 3:52pm

Does anyone know if wheat land is accessible through the “Back Door” option now? Or will this option only be available for the tournament?

Hole 3 has three spots. The C Position is 11's Long. It's one we got added the first year and have always used.

Trevor Chart   May 18, 2022 at 10:55pm

Hole 9: Long basket ahead or long basket left around the corner?

Zac Teuscher   May 18, 2022 at 11:21pm

straight one

Zac Teuscher    May 17, 2022 at 7:14am

The Players Have Spoken!
Three Courses it is!

We will play all three courses and we may need to walk into Wheatland.
The order of play may change. I will be speaking with Parks in the morning and know for sure.

I like Wheatland. If it needs to be 2 at toalali so be it.

John Moloney    May 17, 2022 at 3:06am

Keizer is good other than 12.

Mitchell crain    May 17, 2022 at 1:29am

I heard wheatland gate is closed due to flooding also Keizer is unplayable? What is this plan for this weekend? I played camp t on Saturday and the course is good to go.

Steven Silvers    May 17, 2022 at 1:21am

My preference is to play Wheatland but it is what it is.

Samuel Benson    May 17, 2022 at 12:41am

I'd prefer to play Wheatland but if its not doable then so be it. Will back entrance to Wheatland even have enough parking?

Brice Waters    May 16, 2022 at 9:09pm

My vote is for two rounds at camp t. It's playing great

Josh Wallace    May 16, 2022 at 6:36pm

I vote keep all 3 courses and just start on hole 6 at wheatland if needed...

mitchell bivens    May 16, 2022 at 4:42pm

I’m down with 2 rounds at campT and 1 round at keizer Sunday!! Wheatland seems to be the worse of the 3

John Moloney    May 16, 2022 at 3:54am

Lost a dyed Scortch today at Keizer. Reward if found, thanks!

Nick Breninger    May 13, 2022 at 4:25pm

Played Keizer on Tuesday and hole 12 was flooded. Just curious if those conditions will change the courses played at this tournament, or if modifications will be made.
