When Worlds split from adults why did they not increase the numbers. And last year was cancelled, how can this be changed . If you say its always been this way, I would say who cares, I bet maybe total number of kids who wanted to play was 100, now I would bet 1000 for each group. If you are a parent please responde to this post so next year they do something. My kid will most likely be done.

Is the MJ18 division guaranteed to play 5 rounds or 6? Which round is the last one before the cut?
See the course schedule here: https://www.pdga.com/files/2021_jr_worlds_draft_course_schedule_v1.4.pdf
Everyone in MJ18 plays six rounds through Saturday morning, then a cut to Finals for the top 4 players.

When will the caddy book be released?!
Later this week. The course maps and notes though are already available here: pdgajuniorworlds.com
Go to pdgajuniorworlds.com and click on the "Players" tab - the course maps and hole descriptions are there.

Hello, 2021 PDGA Junior World Parents of Participants. My son, Jake Mickelson (#60990) and I just pulled out of the event due to MJ18 being filled to capacity and Jake was #15 Waitlist. That said, He has one more year of eligibility. We booked a terrific Bed and Breakfast in January for this event; The Gulfer Mansion. Two floors are now available due to our withdrawal from attending the event. Please contact Susan the Gulfer Mansion Owner; she is terrific!

Will you consider allowing the waitlist people to take spots for other division that have not filled up on July 2nd?
If it is concerning MJ18 or MJ15, they can't be increased, they are already full pools of 72 players.
We don't allow the use of fivesomes at World Championships, and don't recommend them for any level event.

Will there be caddies allowed?

is there a way for me to change emergency contact info after registration closes?
email the name and phone number to me at [email redacted] and I'll update the record.

What are the odds of me getting into jr worlds 15 I’m #1 on the waiting list
Odds are better than if you were #10, but it's impossible to predict if we will get a drop or not.
Gabriel Teubner June 16, 2021 at 9:39pm
What happens if someone drops out after July 2nd?
Nothing, everyone still on the waitlist on the morning of July 3rd is refunded so drops are only backfilled through July 2nd.
The registration schedule is here: https://www.pdga.com/documents/2021-pdga-junior-worlds/2021-pdga-junior-worlds-registration-schedule

If I live 45 minutes away from emporia. Should I come to check in on that Tuesday? How will I know if I may get in the tournament or not?
If there is a drop to get you in, you will receive an email from Disc Golf Scene letting you know. If you don't get in by Friday July 2nd, you will be refunded on Saturday, June July 3rd, so if not in there is no reason to come out on Tuesday unless you want to spectate.

What will player's packs consist of?
Gabriel Teubner June 15, 2021 at 2:53am
Does the player's pack come with the entry fee?
Asher Cook June 15, 2021 at 2:42am
Will there be a zuca cart in this years players pack?!
Mason McLean June 14, 2021 at 11:18pm
When playing a practice round, can parents play as well? What about at ECC?
Tommy Gager June 14, 2021 at 1:18pm
What days are the FJ10 division playing?
Larry Burge June 12, 2021 at 4:16am
Registration for doubles only shows 70 people but Cadence Burge cannot register. All of the girls' divisions have only one team currently, so would not be contested. Can you allow more teams so that the girls can play?
72 players have already registered, so it won't allow further registrations. I'm working on determining a mismatch on partners to confirm who is playing with who. If it ends up there is space after that or due to drops, I'll let you know,
Lupe Esquivel June 12, 2021 at 3:58am
Looking for a partner for Carley Jordan, she is playing FJ15
Larry I got cadence and carley signed up boss, we are good to go. Can’t wait to see them play.

How does the final 9 work? Do your scores carry over from the other days? Or is it whoever wins the final 9 is the champion? Or something else? If anyone has any info on what the final 9 is like that would be appreciated.
I've been in a final 9 before and scores carried over. But I don't know if at a higher level it resets.
Asher Cook June 12, 2021 at 1:18am
Is there a point to stay on the 10th if I don't make it to the finals? Like is there any event I would miss?
I have no clue if you are able to because of covid and stuff, but they might let people spectate the final 9. If that's something your interested in. I just have no idea if that's a possibility at all
Both the semi-finals and the finals are on Saturday the 10th. You can certainly spectate as well.
I understand why they can't let more in, they have a limited amount of space, and time of play involved if there's a lot of kids on a card
unfortunately that's the way. in order to have that many kids you would need to have 15/20 courses able to be used in a town then triple or quadruple the volunteers need to run a major and need a club to bid on the process and want to take on that responsibility.
The popularity of the sport this year, will drive change in the future. We're stuck in the learning curve right now.
I played a A tier in Charlotte where they used A and B pools and there were 144 players in my field (ma1) and nearly 500 players playing the event. For example if A pool plays course 1 in the morning and course 2 in the afternoon and B pool plays course 2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon there ... more
I played a A tier in Charlotte where they used A and B pools and there were 144 players in my field (ma1) and nearly 500 players playing the event. For example if A pool plays course 1 in the morning and course 2 in the afternoon and B pool plays course 2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon there can be more players in the event. I know that it’s not as simple as that and would like to thank everyone for running a great event because it’s not easy but in my opinion and many others it is possible to have more juniors playing junior worlds!
