It gets dark too early this time of year to have 5 per card with 2 rounds on long courses. Sorry.

Would it be possible to have the short pads for cypress marked on UDisc so we at least have a rough idea where they’ll be?

Dana Smith and I will be at Cypress this coming Tuesday 12/21/2021 to mark the physical location for the short pads that will be used for the tournament. We plan to post something online showing the approximate location shortly thereafter. I will try to make a UDisc layout for the course on Tuesday as well.

I'm meeting Ben to mark them on Tuesday. The mats will probably do up a short time before so they are in good condition and don't disappear.

I received an invite for MA3 and I’m trying to get on the waitlist, but my rating went up to 913 which is MA2 so I can’t sign up… any explanation or can I just not play in this tournament?

Medical issues took a toll this year and was hoping for an exemption invite ... I enjoyed playing this tournament a couple of years ago at your home course in DeBarry ... Would have been nice playing in my own backyard ... Good Luck with the tournament... Thanks for the heads-up ... I will now be able to make alternative Holiday weekend plans... Prosper ... Peace

Kelly, it was announced today that Steve Slasor and Ken Climo will be inducted into the Florida Disc Golf Hall of Fame and the ceremony will be at Cypress before the first round. We are inviting them to play in the tournament if they so choose, so we reserved those spots.

The waitlist is set up by pool, not by division, but it will move you two up on the waitlist.

They will not be there this weekend. I am running the Floral Park Iron Man Saturday and will be preparing for that. I will probably be out sometime the week of Christmas to mark the holes. Not sure how early we want to put them down so they don't disappear.

thank you dana. now the question is when will the short pads at cypress be "developed"? they're marked on the course map at cypress but dont actually exist.

We are going to be adding heavy mats on the holes showing short pads. They may be shorter than what is on the map though. GCEP, the charity behind GCCO is raising money to put in permanent short pads

Tournament is full, but get on the waitlist. Spots often open up the week of the tournament.

yes, my plan is to have a short pad for every hole that shows a short pad on Disc Golf Course Review. They may be shorter though than what is listed. So right now it's 1, 4, 5, 8, 9, 12, 14, 16, 17, & 18. That may change when we get out there to actually put down the pads.

Hello again Ben ... I would love the opportunity to play in this tournament again ... I am respectfully requesting an invitation to play in either MP50 or MP60 ... I would like to request an entry based on extreme medical circumstances in 2020 and early 2021 ... I am doing much better now and will leave it at that... You must have at least 1 qualifying point in a division and at least 3 qualifying Florida tournaments in that division.

The minimum requirements for an invitation are 1 qualifier point and 3 Qualifying Florida tournaments in that division.
