About this tournament

We are both heartbroken and devastated to inform you that the Professional Disc Golf Association has made the decision to suspend all Elite Series and Major events until May 1st on account of the Coronavirus. This date may get extended past May 1st as new information becomes available. We certainly support the reasons behind the cancellation, but that does nothing to diminish our disappointment.

To clarify - the 2020 GBO is canceled. The GBO takes a full year to plan and requires the collaboration of 12 courses, 5 municipalities, and countless local businesses. Dynamic Discs may look to run another event later in the year, but it will not be to the scale of the GBO. The next Glass Blown Open will take place in April of 2021, and it will be bigger and better than ever!

Emails have been sent out to all competitors and spectator badge holders concerning the refund policy for the NT and the A-Tier event.

Full refunds will be made for the Flex / Shotgun Start C-Tiers.

This one round C-Tier event allows you to play the Flint Hills Technical College 9-hole disc golf course and play a PDGA rated round.

You might ask, how can rounds on a 9-hole course get a PDGA rating when the requirement is at least 13 holes? We have received permission to have players throw two drives at each tee box and then finish each shot all the way to the basket and record two scores for each hole they play. After walking and playing the nine-hole course, each player will have completed 18 holes of disc golf.

This is a flex start event from 7AM to 3PM, giving you the option to start whenever it is convenient for you (between 7AM and 3PM). Each card must have 3-5 players to start their round.

NEW THIS YEAR - $5 of your entry fee will go directly into a week-long Jumbo Double Disc Ace Pot. Half of all of the ace pot collected during the week will be divided evenly amongst all hole-in-ones hit during the five Double Disc events. The cash payments for these aces can be picked up at the Dynamic Discs retail store after 9AM on Saturday (5/2) morning when the store opens. All participants who hit an ace will also be invited to throw for the second half of the Jumbo Double Disc Ace Pot at the Block Party at 8PM. Participants should bring a disc suitable for a 100 foot shot at the Block Party. If no one aces in the first round of throws, the competition will change to a CTP to determine who takes the second half of the Jumbo Double Disc Ace Pot!

Refund policy

Any cancellation before April 23rd will receive a full refund minus a $5 processing fee.

Cancellations on or after April 24th will receive a 100% merchandise credit to www.DynamicDiscs.com.
