Tournament Director, Aaron Garner, Fresh back to Michigan from my week in Kentucky to run the 2020 Disc Baron Series: Tower Open presented by Sunrise Heating & Plumbing, and Zanfel.

This year has been a strange one, and with the COVID-19 Pandemic still limiting many of our typical functions, we have been blessed to be able to reschedule this event and actually be able to hold it!

What a great turn out it’s looking to be! Currently, registration is filled, and there are players still on the waiting list.

This event is a B-Tiered Sanctioned Tournament with $1000 added cash to the Open Divisions! We are excited to hold this event and look forward to seeing each of you at Tower Park in Greenville this weekend!

With the Current COVID-19 Pandemic, some rules have been put into play in order to mitigate the risks involved.

First, facial coverings or masks are strongly encouraged at all times while on the course. Event Staff will be required to wear face coverings while in the scope of their duties.

Social Distancing rules of 6+ feet are in effect, and course courtesy will be enforced. No guests, spectators, or caddies will be allowed with the exception of our Junior Division Competitors, who will be allowed a parent or guardian.

Parking will be spread among the three parking lots surrounding Tower Park Disc Golf Course. There will be NO street-side parking, or illegal parking by event participants.

Currently placed portable restrooms will be utilized. These are located near Tee Pads 7, 14, and 17. Local business restrooms will not be utilized, unless you are a customer of said business.

Hand Sanitizer will be available for use at Tournament HQ, along with First Aid and Tournament Director is EMT-B trained.

Event Scoring will be conducted via “Live Scoring” with a physical scorecard being used for continuity. Please ensure both the Live Scoring and the physical scorecard are accurate.

The event will be a 2-round tournament, standard PDGA rules. ALL roads to include the curbs, parking lots, defined paths, and private property are to be considered as out-of-bounds with the exception of the gravel drive on Hole 6, and the dilapidated path parallel to hole 14.

I'm looking around my email and I'm not sure my request for withdrawal went through. I tried to drop saturday bc I had a pending COVID test (negative, btw). I do have proof of that if needed, was just wondering if there was any way i could still get a refund, or if I'll have to chalk this up as a donation to the cause lol

I am thinking of entering this tournament, which would be my first tournament, and have been playing since June. I usually average +15 with my best round being +9 and worst being +22 at Tower Park and was wondering what division I should sign up for? Any help would be appreciated.
