No shows, in my opinion is at one point in time there was 993 people signed up. After the close of the event registration, there were 987 signed up. 968 people showed up for the event. That means that 29 people were a "No Show". Thus, a recalculation of the payouts were needed.

Now, it's a combined effort between Discraft and Ledgestone staff. Discraft will have to create unique voucher numbers for all the ones who didn't already receive payout.

Bethel, your complaining is reaching new heights, but as has been stated several times: We released the payout vouchers at Eureka on Sunday afternoon. The payouts were posted in several different spots Sunday afternoon. There were signs up that said what would happen if someone couldn't stick around (Discraft would email you a voucher to redeem your winnings). That voucher will get emailed later this week. It takes time to sort through thousands of dollars of merchandise, who used their vouchers, etc. Please be patient, we are working on this as fast as possible.

I'm reading in his Facebook post, payouts take longer to adjust for NO Shows. This seems to indicate you are NOT gonna get. In full transparency, the TD should disclose how deep into a division there is a payout UP FRONT. Maybe the amount is not known but you'd sure know if you missed out ... more

In full transparency, the TD should disclose how deep into a division there is a payout UP FRONT. Maybe the amount is not known but you'd sure know if you missed out on something by being a NO Show. I also find it strange to say some divisions pay down to 75% meaning others do not. Don't we all pay the same amount to play... would any payouts not be prorated on how big the division was and the amount collected...??? Obviously it seems extra money is being collected from somewhere and therefore how are the ''payb75% deep identified ???I don't

The process is quite simple Beth. All the information is made available leading up to the event. Obviously, when dealing with this many people, factors may change. It’s too bad a lot of people don’t take time to read the event information and then post questions for info that was made available weeks and months ago.

That's hilarious. I've read just about everything posted. The Pro payouts were not communicated till a day or 2 prior to end of tournament. I have seen nothing about AM payouts other than 'we have the best / most / deepest) NO specifics exist. No post payout depth disclosed. I don't want $$$ amounts but show us how deep ya paid. People left ( like me ) due to 10 plus hours of travel. We spent our dues there. The best way to NOT get me back and not have tournament sellouts is to be non-transparent.

In the past we'd post who got what for Ams on the PDGA event page, but the PDGA has asked that only Pro payouts be listed on the event page. That said it took us too long to get the payouts posted and we will improve that next year.

Beth, there’s a lot of factors in play. You should play your best regardless and be patient. Not sure what’s contradictory. Perhaps you might look up the definition of that word.

There were several signs up at the payout area. They stated that if a player does not pick up their payout, an email will be sent that includes a voucher.

Bethel, I have no idea what you are talking about, but our payout process has been the same for the last 3 years. We have to adjust the projected payout based on no shows. We post the payout Sunday.

We release vouchers as soon as they are available on Sunday afternoon at Eureka. For those that can't stick around, we email them later in the week once we have processed and confirmed who did not purchase stuff in person.

That's not what is meant by no shows. Also in the FAQ found here http://lisopen.com/event/faq/, which was posted months ago, it says voucher to purchase from Discraft at a later time. No one can predict the future. No one knows exactly how many are going to finish the event, so it would be nearly impossible to give an accurate payout structure. They can only guess. Hence they did 9 months ago.
