Had a blast last weekend. thanks to everyone that put it on, i only wish the schedule was upheld. our entire crew from grand rapids (12 of us altogether) left to tear our tents down after seeing the white board say "jumbo toss 4:00" we hustled big time and made it back twenty minutes early. to find the jumbo had just ended....im no pro, i love this game but its very rare that i get close to any sort of prize. jumbo toss is the one part of the tourney that a mediocre disc golfer has an ... more

All I am saying is that having 12-15 people running a tourney of 180 on 3 different courses could not be easy. People were complaining about only getting 35 mins for a break between rounds on Saturday. I had to wait almost 2 hours until I was able to go off for my second round on Sat. I would much rather have a 35 min break then a two hour break. Your arm and body start to tighten up after a bit. It is hard to stay loose just playing catch or throwing at a basket 100 ft away. Second that KT, TJ $55 entry fee is when peoples tollerence for the "were doing this out of the kindness of our hearts" goes right out the window. When people pay good money to play in sanctioned tournaments their is a level of professionalism expected and posting scores is a part of that. On the flip side though, this is one of the first tournaments i have seen a3 throw in the past couple of years that people have not spent the following weeks ****ing about payouts, so bravo their guys, progress is the name of the game.

Great tourney! I'll be back next year. On a side note--I'm TD for my first B-tier next month (Custers Last Stand) and I'm getting a little nervous after reading some of the negative comments. You disc golfers are tough to please!

What is the problem? This is a disc golf tournament. The people running this event did a great job with how many people they had to help. This is only the second tournament I have been in with A3DISCS. However both of the events were pretty good. Could things be better? Sure. But that can be said with anything. Instead of bashing these guys why dont the people ****ing ask them if they need help? Give ideas on how things could go smoother in the future. Does it do anything to come on h ... more

I was fortunate enough to watch the second and third rounds. Tyler shot 14 down on the campground course to Raileys 9 down. I didn't see Tyler miss a putt from 40 and in. Amazing. On the monster, Railey made up a bunch of stokes and tied Tyler on hole 17 with a birdie. On 18 Railey caught the top of the trees and fell down, nearly hitting his 30 plus putt that would have saved par. Tyler parred to win by one stroke. I was so impressed by the thoughtfulness of the pros. They stayed o ... more
