Paul, thank you so much for your continued support of women in disc golf. Your incredible insight from the beginning has propelled this tournament to what it is now. It was beautifully run, and lots of fun and I was impressed with the number of players this year, of all ages and abilities. I appreciate you, and all you've done all these years! Many thanks again. Sheila

The Phoenix Ladies Open and Founders beer raised $537 for Pound Puppyz. The Law Offices of Paul J. Sacco will match that for a total of $1074. Stella says the puppies were exhausting. She vetted them and looked them over closely. In her opinion, every single one of those puppies showed great potential as disc golf dogs. She really hopes some of them get adopted and show up next year for the PLO.

Hi, Can a friend pick up my players pack on Friday or do I need to be there?
Jamie J. Spencer November 10, 2022 at 9:15pm
There will be drone footage taking place today and tournament day, please be aware they will be out there capturing your amazing time!
Capturing drone footage of anyone out there practicing today and tomorrow and then portions of the event on Saturday. Terry Miller will be doing coverage of the event on Saturday as well!

Hi Jamie and Sami :) will you be posting starting holes before Saturday morning? Thanks!
Yes, we will have those up and posted by 9pm Friday night! Please do make sure to be present for the short players meeting in the morning per the schedule. If this is for a Junior, we will do a small players meeting for them before their round start at 1pm.

Hey Jamie! Curious which times we should be referencing. Disc golf scene says 9:00 and 1:00 start times and the PLO website says 8:30 and 1:30
Great catch Kendra, thank you for seeing that. The players email I hope you received has the final schedule which is a tee time of 0900 and 1pm (if the first round ends late, that 1pm will be pushed and I will send a notification through dgscene to you all). I will have the website updated to reflect these start times.

Hi will you guys have the layout set up for practice at all before the tournament on Saturday?
I will see if we can do that, the baskets are coming down from Prescott.
Do you know if the 2 baskets in north were moved? Looks like 5 is longer than the map shows and 17 is shorter (but fun!). Just wondering if they will be changing. Thank you!!
I walked the course and ranged it, 17 should be 256 ft, and 5 should be at 389 ft. I will have to double check again. Thank you!

The PLO website says that juniors only play round 1, and the schedule on DiscGolfScene says that juniors only play round 2. Which one is it?
They play only 1 round and that round is the second round start time. We want them to have their awards with everyone else. I will be sending out our players meeting video to everyone and a detailed email in the morning.

I signed up past the deadline for jackets. Is there any still available? If not, no worries! Just saw in a comment there may be some available. Thanks!

Thanks
We started marking the layout this weekend. I’ll be out there today spraying the rest. We can’t put baskets out until the day of due to them being temporary.

Hi registering for my first pdga sanctioned event???? I have couple questions if anyone can help me out. Do I need to get pdga #? What is the best way to learn the rules OB and foot rules? For the jacket am I too late to get one or will it just be a random color/size? Thank you in advance!
For a B tier and higher you will need to register with the PDGA. Rules and OB is covered in our players meeting for the course and rules of the course. However, on the live PDGA scoring app there is a rules book for you to check rulings while in play. For the jacket, I believe we can still get you w ... more

Thank you Jaime!

Jaime, you contacted me to move me from FA55 because nobody else was in that division. I see Renee is now signed up. Can I move back? Unless you are putting us all in 50.

Hi - is it possible to get a higher resolution image of the layouts? The numbers are too blurry when zoomed in, and too tiny otherwise -- thanks!
We will have new maps posted soon. It will be the same layout.

Pound Puppies is the charity this year. I am working on a brewery for a couple of kegs now. If they don't step up I will just buy and donate the kegs. All donations go to pound puppies. Pound Puppies is a 501,3,c nonprofit that rescues puppies from shelters and fosters them out till they can be adopted. They will bring some puppies and info with them. This was Stella's idea. Stella is my grey great dane. She says it is time we did something for homeless dogs.
Excellent! I just noticed my response didn't go through to you!
