Yes

Jackson Hill    August 9, 2020 at 5:53pm

I'm sorry if this has been asked already, but are there blackout times for practicing either Westwood or McNaughton?
I've never played any of the courses so I'd like to get a look at them once beforehand.

Nate Heinold   August 9, 2020 at 11:46pm

No blackout times.

Cody England    August 9, 2020 at 3:56pm

Question for warmup. With everything being safe and new rules where there be practice baskets at some course to warmup before our round? If not does someone know of a good field to throw in for warmup?

Nate Heinold   August 9, 2020 at 11:46pm

All courses will have practice baskets.

Derek Cruit    August 9, 2020 at 2:52pm

Respecting Kennel, as a private course, anything special we need to do for our practice rounds? Check in with someone, etc?

Nate Heinold   August 9, 2020 at 2:57pm

No, just don't throw into any groups of fishermen or people! They are aware a tournament is happening, but some may forget.

Ray Pettigrew    August 9, 2020 at 2:38am

Any chance of getting in for mj10? Worth registering?

I saw that but I was confused because it says waitlist when you try to register?...

Nate Heinold   August 9, 2020 at 3:02am

Get on the waitlist, the total pool is full but we can try to sneak in someone else

Ray Pettigrew   August 9, 2020 at 3:03am

Awesome. Thanks

Noah Carroll    August 8, 2020 at 11:23pm

With all the rain in the forecast for next week will Westwood be moved or will it likely be shortened again? And when will tee times and pools be announced? Sorry if these have already been asked

Nate Heinold   August 9, 2020 at 3:01am

Tee times will probably be announced Tuesday

Jason Riberas    August 8, 2020 at 6:14pm

Do we need to schedule a tee time for sunset and pay at the pro shop or can we just show up without a tee time and pay at the pro shop as usual?

Cody England   August 8, 2020 at 7:16pm

he sent out an email a few weeks ago saying we need to call ahead for tee time

Nate Heinold   August 9, 2020 at 2:59am

Yes, please call ahead for a time unless its for the Wednesday flex event. Those need to be reserved through DGS.

Jason Riberas    August 8, 2020 at 5:53pm

So with all the weather expected to happen next week. For Westwood, will we be expecting to play the short basket position for the tournament due to the inclement weather? I'm not looking forward to this course being in the condition it was in last year with all the rain we had last year on Friday. But its raining just about everyday next week, will we be expecting to play another shortened layout due to the rain (ex: 14-16 hole layout) similar to last year.

Nate Heinold   August 9, 2020 at 2:59am

If you can predict the weather with great accuracy, please let me know! We cannot predict the weather, and looking at the weather forecast that calls for a 30 to 40% chance of rain a few days sounds like a typical summer day. The plan will proceed as normal.

Will Am players get to spectate the pros or do we need to buy a VIP pass

Roy - we did email out the article in regards to spectators to all players. Its also posted at www.lisopen.com

Roy Lyons   August 10, 2020 at 11:24am

Okay, so only caddies and VIP pass holders allowed to spectate.

Nate Heinold   August 10, 2020 at 1:36pm

Those are the only guaranteed people that can spectate, per our COVID plan. Sunset and Eureka may allow additional spectators based on capacity limits, but Northwood is a strict VIP only policy.

What are the chances of getting into MA4?

Nate Heinold   August 7, 2020 at 3:21pm

I would recommend getting on the waitlist

Brandon Peterson   August 7, 2020 at 3:24pm

Thanks Nate.

I guess Monday would be the first day for regular practice then?

Nate Heinold   August 9, 2020 at 11:47pm

Yes

Matty Ice    August 7, 2020 at 2:02am

I added a note to my registration in regards to my hole sponsorship. How do I know if it’s been received?

Nate Heinold   August 7, 2020 at 11:40am

Hole signs were printed weeks ago.

[member not found]   August 7, 2020 at 10:48pm

Will we know in advance what course and what hole ours is on?

Nate Heinold   August 8, 2020 at 3:15am

They are random

Nick Edwards    August 7, 2020 at 12:51am

So if I sign up now for MA2 and get in, do I still get the full player pack?

Nate Heinold   August 7, 2020 at 12:57am

If you get in to the event, yes

Timothy M    August 6, 2020 at 9:04pm

Chances of making it from #12 on the waitlist (MA1)....asking for a friend :) ???

Nate Heinold   August 6, 2020 at 10:17pm

Probably not good.

Joey Springer    August 6, 2020 at 3:37pm

Question Nate. If I sign up for Am3 and a spot opens up for Am2 can I move up? Just wondering because I want to get in but I don't really want to play Am3 if I can avoid it.

Ok I signed up for Am3. Should I just message you if Am2 opens up? Also how do you choose your tee time for the flex c-tier?

Joey Springer   August 6, 2020 at 11:19pm

On Thursday at Kennel Lake

Nate Heinold   August 7, 2020 at 12:57am

Use your disc golf scene confirmation email to select a time. Registration is locked for the main event on Sunday.

I think I'm reading this correctly, but I wanted to be sure. MP50 check-in time starts at 7PM?

Nate Heinold   August 6, 2020 at 1:47pm

That is correct

Manuel Spicer    August 6, 2020 at 2:17am

My daughter wants to be my caddy and I see that is ok for her to do so.
I've never attended before. Is there a caddy fee or anything I would have to pay or would I have to register her in any way??? Thank you in advance.

Please keep in mind that spectators are not allowed at any venues outside of what has been listed above. Each player is allowed to have one caddy with them, and that caddy needs to be someone they are socially distancing with. There are no exceptions to this rule. to actually answer your question from what i read yes she can be your caddy, no you do not need to pay a fee, i also remember reading somewhere that she is not required to wear your bag or carry your stuff.

With the Discraft Players Clinic being limited to 30 players, is it first come first serve or a place to sign up?

Where is this information at? I just see it on the schedule.

Nate Heinold   August 6, 2020 at 12:53am

It was emailed to the players.

Douglas Craiglow   August 6, 2020 at 1:07am

I must not be getting emails.

Gregg Hammer    August 5, 2020 at 5:11pm

I've been seeing forecasts with rain and lightning for the week of the event. If lightning happens is there a chance rounds would be canceled or delayed a day and pushed into the next week?

*My hope is mentioning the lightning and rain will make it not happen!!

Mike Krupicka   August 5, 2020 at 5:24pm

No rounds will be pushed beyond Sunday. In the past, we've still been able to get all the rounds in on the day they were scheduled even with lightning delays.

Mike Stump - OldStump    August 5, 2020 at 1:02pm

For those camping or considering such. Where are campgrounds used by players?
