WELCOME to the Throwing Down at Sprinkle Valley DGC (Platinum), Sponsored by MVP Disc Sports!

This functions as a stand alone tournament (payouts as normal, etc) PLUS earns points towards the Throwing Down the Gauntlet season tour, a year-long points series of tournaments held across Texas that culminates in our Invitational Championship October 4-5th (see below for more info)

In addition to playing for yourself individually, you will also choose a faction to represent (The Steel Legion or The Woodland Syndicate) and your performance will earn points for your chosen side. Join us for the yearly battle between the two and lead your team to victory!

Throwing Down the Gauntlet 2025

Winners for each division of 3 or more players will receive an AUTOMATIC bid to the End of Season Championship, where they will compete for THOUSANDS of dollars in added cash + prizes!

This event will have a 4x point multiplier for this event for Throwing Down the Gauntlet Season Points Standings

General

-This will be a 2 day 2 round event (Tee Times), with both rounds being held at Sprinkle Valley DGC in Austin, TX

- All players will receive a FREE beer token, courtesy of Mint and Austin Beerworks

- SEVERAL CTP prizes up for grabs for free

- Mega CTP and Ring of Fire after the second round for free prizes!

- Players Warehouse Party is after Round 1 and is sponsored by Mint Discs. Huge thanks to Mint for being a part of it!

- Stamp your own disc at the warehouse! Mint is offering a special prerelease of the new Swirly Apex Lobsters as well as a fresh batch of Sublime (and other Minty goodness)

- Commemorative TDTG at Sprinkle Valley custom stamps available for all molds

- For every disc stamped, Mint will donate an ADDITIONAL $5 towards the Am side payout for the event!

- Round 1 tee times will start @ 8am with 12 minute intervals (subject to change, depending on attendance)

- Division caps will be lifted 5 days before the tournament begins and waitlist registrants will be added

- Divisions less than 3 one week out from the event will not receive a trophy.

THERE WILL BE A NON-REFUNDABLE $5 FEE FOR ALL REGISTRATIONS

Cancellations will be refunded minus the $5 cancellation fee up until 5 days before the tournament begins. Refunds within 5 days of tournament date will ONLY be granted if that spot is filled before the tournament begins, either by a waitlist player or new entry. Entry fees for dropouts that are not filled within the final 5 days will be added to the tournament payout pool. Ams who drop out during this window and are not refunded will still be eligible to receive their player packs from The Armory Disc Golf Shop within 30 days after the tournament.
